Meet Your Favorite Hollywood Stars – Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center #BayouTravel

We all have that favorite Hollywood Movie we can watch over and over. Or that favorite actor we can’t wait to see in the next film. Well if your a big movie buff like I am, you will love visiting the new Hollywood Wax Museum Entertainment Center in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Located right on Parkway’s main tourist strip you won’t miss it!

The large building boosts a Mt. Rushmore style facade which includes Hollywood Greats like Marylin Monroe, John Wayne & even Elvis Presley! Once you walk into the building your greeted by a huge King Kong replica where guests can take their pictures as King Kong grabs them in his hands. You then can take a self guided tour throughout the museum which includes 2 floors and the opportunity to visit the observatory deck where another large King Kong Replica over looks Parkway & Pigeon Forge.

One of my favorite parts of the wax museum was the opportunity to post with some of your favorite characters. Whether your in the Winner’s Circle with Jeff Gordan and other Nascar greats or Dancing next to Micheal Jackson this is a family treat you do not want to miss! The museum is split into genres which I really enjoyed. So if your a Si-Fi or Marvel nerd like I am, or into Pop Music Culture, you’ll be able to find your all-time favorite Hollywood stars quickly. But if your into the classics like I Dream of Genie or I love Lucky, don’t worry, they have something for everyone.

4 Bayou Fleur DeLis Rating
I gave the Hollywood Wax Museum a 4 Bayou Fleur DeLis Rating for it’s overall entertainment factor. The location is easy to get to & instantly pops right at you. The outside figures are amazing! The museum itself is perfect for school-aged children to adults. You can tour the museum at your own pace which is perfect for picture taking. Many of the figures are true to character with the exception of a few. If your looking for fun memories to capture, this is your place. Although price may be a factor, the option of buying your tickets online is perfect for those trying to budget their money while vacationing.

Having been to Pigeon Forge 10 times now, I have seen my share of “attraction museums” and I have to say this is one of the better ones, better yet, it’s one of the best in Pigeon Forge. The previous museum at that location was the Dinosaur Walk Museum. I can easily say this beats it 10x’s over!! If your going to the Smokey Mountain area, you will definitely want to stop by this Wax Museum. It gets my Hollywood Star of Approval! :)

You’re right, you cannot miss this museum! That Hollywood focused Mt. Rushmore pops right out at you. We had discussed visiting but we just couldn’t fit it in on this trip. I’ll definitely add it to the list of places to visit next time around. The name “Marvel” really intrigued me. :)
