My favorite holiday is almost here! It’s not exactly a holiday per say, but in my eyes, it trump Valentines hands down. I’m talking about Super Bowl Sunday! Not only do I love football but my favorite team is in the playoffs (Geaux Saints) which makes this football chick jump for joy. So while most bloggers are working on Valentines crafts and treat, I’m working on a Super Bowl Sunday Menu.
I love my party foods full of flavor, so it shouldn’t surprise you that a plain cheese dip isn’t on the Super Bowl Sunday football party menu. Today we are sharing the perfect Super Bowl Party Dip: Spicy BLT Dip. It has my favorite ingredients which include real cheese, chipotle and BACON. Grab a pen and paper or check your pantry for the item you will need to make this Kickin’ Dip!
Ingredients
4 ounces chipotle sauce
1 cup sour cream
1 pack preferred bacon
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tomato, diced
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
1 cup shredded lettuce
Bake bacon in the oven. While the bacon is cooking, combine chipotle sauce, mayonnaise and sour cream in a medium sized mixing bowl.
Remove bacon from the oven and cut it up into bite sized pieces. Stir ⅔ of the cut up bacon into the chipotle sauce and sour cream mixture. Pour dip into a serving bowl.
Top your spicy BLT dip with lettuce, tomato and the rest of the chopped bacon. Serve with tortilla chips, pretzels, veggies, or use it on sandwiches.

What are you favorite Super Bowl Sunday football party foods?

Oh I never seen a dip like that. But it sounds amazing. I will have to make that, because come on, everything is better with bacon
This is definitely being made in our house this weekend. I am a BLT dip fanatic and love trying different recipes. Thank you for sharing!
Looks yummy! Thanks for sharing the recipe!
you included ‘bacon’ so my family will devour it. bacon is the magic word!
If it is spicy and has bacon in it, it is perfect for our home! lol. It sounds absolutely delicious!
That looks really good! I do have one question: Can I substitute the chipotle sauce for something else? I can’t have spicy food, but would love to try this dip!
You could probably add your own taco seasonings for added flavor.
This looks so good, I am going to try this for my family. Its so easy to make I see as well. Thanks for sharing this with us ;0)
Great idea! I make a BLT pasta salad which I love, never thought of turning it into a dip! Making this soon, for sure!!
Pretty sure that’s be a hit with my husband’s friends come Super Bowl Sunday.
Pretty much anything with bacon is perfect!
Sounds good but for my family we’d have to use a mild sauce—we are a bunch of wimps LOL
Yummy! That dip has my boys names all over it
Sounds delicious and easy- a perfect combo! Quick question though- when do you add the cheese?
