The following is a sponsored post. Opinions & thoughts are my own.

As many of you know the stressors of life can take a toll on any family that is why it is so important to reconnect with my loved ones whenever possible. My school aged children started school the 1st week of August. Life became crazy pretty quickly once school started. My children received their interim report cards for the 1st four weeks of school today. I’m so glad they are doing well, but I can sense that we are all getting slightly burnt out. Time management can be my best friend…and worst enemy!

So I did what many families would love to do, I took a look at my calendar and began to plan our next 3-4 day weekend. I found two different 3 day weekends in October. LIFESAVER!!! We are planning a trip to Sandestin Florida with that extra weekend in mind. Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is a short 4 hour drive to Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast. We can hop in the car Thursday afternoon & arrive before sundown that evening. I stayed at the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort for a business conference 13-14 years ago and truly enjoyed my stay. Now I have a family and need to keep my family occupied while staying within budget for our next family getaway.

Why Sandestin?
Sandestin is a 2,400-acre destination resort and is open for all seasons and for all ages. That means I can enjoy the beach year around as well as all the amenities provided to guest. With over 1,200 condominiums, villas, and town homes, you can find accommodations that suits your family and the price point you are looking for. Sandestin resort guests can take advantage of the complimentary amenities and save your family money in the process.

Complimentary Amenities

Bicycle rental

Accommodations

Two and three bedroom villas and townhomes, all of which have full kitchens and dining areas.

Fly Me To The Beach
For those individuals wanting the added convenience of air travel, guests have several options:
VPS – Ft WaltonBeachAirport
ECP – The Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport near Panama City
PNS – Pensacola Regional Airport

I know what you’re thinking! We are approaching the end of September. Why would I want to take a trip to the beach in the fall? It’s pretty simple: Sugar white sandy beaches, spa, trams, golf, tennis, water adventure, aqua sports, family fun, and don’t forget The Village of BaytowneWharf. It’s like a shopping daydream. It’s like walking into a shopping catalog!

We need a fall family break & Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort is calling my name. I’m listening, are you?
Can you use one more weekend at the beach? What is your favorite part of a beach vacation?

My favorite part of a beach vacation is simply walking along the shore at dawn, searching for that perfect, elusive sea shell.

I love beach vacations, they can be so relaxing (and I need some time to relax!) and this looks like a wonderful destination to visit. I have never been to Sandestin but I would love to visit one day.

I didn’t get the chance to visit the beach this year :( Hopefully next year. I love relaxing and tanning on the beach. Swimming is fun too :)

I’m taking my family there, one day! We like to just get comfy on the beach and let the kids play in the sand. My son always runs right for the water though, and he’s only 2.

We haven’t been to the beach in like two years, I wanted to visit so bad this summer, but my husband’s schedule prevented it! So the beach is definitely calling my name!
