I recently returned from a Social Shopper Media Conference called SoFabCon in Bentonville, Arkansas. Since I am about 10 hours away from Bentonville, Arkansas we decided driving from the New Orleans area would be cost efficient. Traveling to Arkansas we encountered heavy rain, wind and the probability of snow so we truly couldn’t enjoy it’s beauty. But when returning to New Orleans, we saw Arkansas through a whole new light.
Isn’t the location beautiful? I wish we would have had an extra day to experience Northwest Arkansas and visit places like Eureka Springs, the Cosmic Caverns, the foothills of the Ozarks, Arkansas Air Museum, Battlefield Park and much more. For now, I have to say goodbye to Northwest Arkansas and plan a trip with my family to visit the area in detail. The pictures of my road trip is enough to make me go back and next time there will be plenty of sightseeing!

Have you ever visited Northwest Arkansas? Have you ever visited a location that you wish you had more time in? If so, where?

It’s gorgeous! I wanted to attend this conference so bad, but it just didn’t work out money-wise. We are planning our first road trip with the whole family next month, I’m very excited to hit the open road!
Beautiful pictures! I’ve never been to Arkansas. I have friends who live there though.
I’ve never visited Arkansas and was hoping to do it for the first time for SoFabCon but it didn’t work out. I can’t wait to attend next year though. It looks beautiful!
the sky looks amazing and what a peaceful looking, open space! I would love to have more time to travel just about everywhere!
Never been but I love a good road trip! It looks beautiful!
I have never been there but it looks amazing! Stunning pictures!
very pretty! looks like a great place to visit and relax
Hey! Nice to see you at SoFabCon. Don’t forget when you come back, leave time to visit Crater of Diamonds state park. It is a public diamond mine, and you can sift through for diamonds, visit the museum and keep what you find! Also, there is tons of art at the 21C Hotel and Crystal Bridges in Bentonville, AR. And, when you were at the Hammons Center and Embassy Suites for SoFabCon, you were in Rogers, AR, but the cities can kind of run together as there is no space between them, so it can be confusing for area guests.
what beautiful pics! I have never visited there really before, only passing thru.
The only time i visited Arkansas was on a cross country road trip. I didn’t get the opportunity to stop either but would love to go back one day!
Great photos!! My favorite is the second picture.
Beautiful! I wish I could have gone to the conference! Maybe next year!
Here from the Best of the USA hop (though you know I’d be here anyway) and glad to see you doing so much traveling! Beautiful pics- hope next year you’ll be able to join me for Hispz14. Place I’d like to go back? Everywhere I’ve been! There’s always something new to see if you go w/the right eyes. ; ) BB2U
Beautiful pictures and great post!
I have never been to Arkansas but it looks beautiful! I always like more time near the ocean!!
I haven’t been to that part of Arkansas, but it’s beautiful in your pictures. I love to travel and find new places very exciting, so pretty much everywhere I have been I want to go back and spend more time at.
I have never been to Arkansas, but it sure looks beautiful!
Just passing by your site, saw your blog about NWA. Lived there most of my life and loved every single minute of it! It is exactly like the pics in real life. I hope you all get to go/go back! It’s worth it!
