Cruise Ship Printables for Kids - How to plan your upcoming Family Cruise #BayouTravel

Carnival Sunshine is pictured above. Isn’t she a beauty!?! Last week I was reunited with Carnival Cruise Lines for a Carnival Dream event in New Orleans. My family & I have been on Carnival Dream as well as other cruise ships multiple times. Cruise ship travel is my family’s favorite way to travel. I’m not kidding, the kids have picked traveling by cruise ship over Disney World several times.

But how do you plan your first family cruise? I have touched on the subject many times. In fact, I have also written a ebook that can help families plan their first cruise ship experience. One of my favorite tips is to plan and learn how to keep your children entertained on a cruise ship. Today I’m sharing a fun way to keep your children entertained. With all of the activities available on board, it is not hard!

How to Plan for your upcoming family cruise - Cruise Terminology #BayouTravel

Learning about the ship is extremely important! Today I’m sharing a easy to read printable which explains Cruise Terminology for Kids. You can pair this printable with our Cruise Ship Family Scavenger Hunt printable and keep the kiddos entertained when they are not in Carnival’s Camp Ocean.

How to plan for your upcoming cruise - Packing List #BayouTravel

Also, a great way to get the kids excited about their 1st cruise ship experience or returning home is to keep them involved. I am also including a free, How to plan for your upcoming cruise – Packing List Printable. Naturally, to avoid a meltdown you will want to pack for them but if they are slightly older, asking them to help will ensure they have some responsibility of what to pack while cruising. Believe me, you don’t want to forget their favorite blankie or book.

I have included several adult items like debit/credit cards and makeup so that adults can use this as well. Use the extra lines for kid appropriate items to include. Don’t worry if you forget something, cruise ships have various gift shops and stores that you can purchase cruise travel essentials.

Don’t forget to pin and share these printables! Your friends and family will be grateful for the travel reminder.
