Cabin Fever Vacation- Pigeon Forge, Tennessee #Brandcation #PigeonForge

Vacationing in the Smokey Mountains is so easy to do. Aside from the fantastic family fun attractions the area posses, the scenery will keep families coming back year after year. There is something about being in a peaceful setting that can keep a person equally at peace. I would be lying to you if I didn’t need my recent trip to Pigeon Forge. Naturally I missed my family, but the time away from them was so needed!

I felt drained, really, everyday was a struggle for me to get up and do what was needed in my everyday life. I work full-time in the healthcare industry so when I get home from work, my brain is like mush! I enjoy the peaceful 22 minute car ride home everyday day. It’s peaceful and quite frankly, I need it to clear my head everyday so can focus before I get home and deal with the organized chaos I call-Home! Once I take care of my Mommy & Wife duties (does that really ever end?) I’m off to work on my blog and engage my readers through posting 5 days a week, updating Facebook and being active on Twitter. Having a “presence” is a must” in my full-time job, home life and life as a blogger.

Brandcation & Cabin Fever Vacations was my life preserver. I needed a retreat and Brandcation was offering exactly what I needed! Working with companies I was well familiar with in my personal life (and some that were new to me) while being in one of America’s most natural backyard? Yes, please!

The Mountaintop Lodge was beyond amazing! Boosting enough space for 34 people (yes, exactly 34 people) while having enough living space for everyone is no easy feat. Although many of us came and went when we were not at an event, there were several times that all 34 ladies were in the cabin at one time.  We had plenty of space to enjoy ourselves and be more than comfortable. The kitchen was a typical large space yet having 2 refrigerators was a nice plus!! Every floor had an amazing porch view all equipped with hot tub and rocking chairs and/or swings. The bedrooms were large and had plenty of storage for guest to unpack and unwind. kitchen & bedrooms were fully equipped with all the necessary goods we would need for any length of time.

Pictured above was the King-sized Bedroom I shared with another blogger friend. The bed was HUGE!! I’m not joking, we could have easily fit another person, but since we’re mommies, you can easily fit Mommy, Hubby and 2 other children (but do we really want to?). The bedroom was located in the game room area that had Foosball, pool table, television, etc. Who needs attractions when there is so much to do within the cabin.

As for me, I slept. I’m not kidding! I’m normally a light sleeper, but I slept like a rock those few nights. There was partying going on in the top floor and I didn’t hear one peep. I took naps and guess what?  I didn’t feel guilty! I needed some downtime and I’m so glad that Cabin Fever Vacations was the place to gave it to me. I came home refreshed and ready to tackle the week ahead of me. I’m not sure if it was the cabin, scenery or the downtime away from the family and work, but I really enjoyed my cabin stay. I hope that one day I can enjoy it with my family…and sleep some more!

Thank You Cabin Fever Vacations!

Disclosure: CabinFeverVacations.com gave us a great rate on our stay. Although it was at a discount, my opinions as always are 100% mine and are not influenced in any way. I’m getting sleepy and at peace just thinking about my stay that week!
