Over the past 9 years, my family has been creating our own family tradition of visiting the Smokey Mountains every Thanksgiving. As selfish as it may sound, it is the one holiday that we do something for ourselves (my husband, children & I) instead of timing family visits, possibly working, or getting stressed out over things that need to be done. In the past we have gone with my husband’s youngest sister, but overall it is just my own little household family.

One thing I love about visiting the Smokey Mountains is the fact that there is so much to do there. Although we have been going for the past 9 years, we did miss 2 years due to work or my son’s birth. Never have we repeated visiting a entertainment attraction unless we wanted to! I normally have 1 -2 things planned prior to our arrival everyday we are there. And for some reason East Tennessee NEVER gets old.

You can not imagine how excited I was to hear that Brandcation 4 would be held in beautiful Pigeon Forge,Tennessee! I am so excited to spend several days with 34 other bloggers in this serene and exciting setting. Brandcation 4 is set for the first week of October, 2012 which is the PERFECT time to go! The leaves will be changing colors, wildlife will be exploring, and the tourism there never has a dull moment.

Brandcation 4 is hosted by Brandfluential and our accommodations will be provided by Cabin Fever Vacations. Imagine staying in an 8 bedroom cabin with a layout like the picture above! My family has had our share of cabins in the Smokey Mountains, but after browsing through Cabin Fever Mountain’s website I’m sure we will be in for a special trip at Brandcation4!

One of my favorite features http://www.cabinfevervacations.com/ has is the webcam & YouTube video of all their cabins. I’m a person that has to see to believe, so when I can physically see what my vacation accommodations looks like (versus just a picture) it takes a huge stress off of me. Also the availability of cabin packages is a great feature. I love that you can book your cabin and save money on attractions nearby which can save you time & money!

You can find more on Cabin Fever Vacation at http://www.cabinfevervacations.com/, on Twitter, or on their Facebook Page.

Have you ever visited the Smokey Mountains? If so what was your favorite part of the trip?

We’re from Georgia, so trips to the Smokey Mountains are an easy drive. We also enjoy visiting in the fall. Thank you for letting us know about this new place to stay. I’ll definitely check it out!

Oh wow, looks like just our kind of place to stay! I have been to the Smokey Mountains once many years ago, but I remember how beautiful it is there! Thanks for the info, I will have to show this cabin retreat to my husband! :)
