School is OUT!

I am counting the days until school is out for Summer!! I don’t know how this would make my life easier, but I am looking forward to it.

Since I work full-time (and different shifts), my children will have to go to a local summer camp. I’m fortunate that our local summer camp is held by St. Tammany Parish School Board who reiceved a grant that allows school children to obtain aftercare & summer camps at a low cost.

This means we will still wake up early, go through a pick up line, and have packed lunches!

5 Imaginary Things that will happen this Summer:

  1.  My Children & I will Sleep Late Every Day. < I’m laughing as I type this!>
  2.  The Children will be happy & I will never hear my 10 yr old & 6 yr old fighting!
  3. I will not hear…”Mom, I’m bored” <keep dreaming , right?>
  4. We will save money this Summer!!
  5. No DS, XBox, Wii, Ipods, Computer Games, and anything that is plugged will have precident over playing outside and having normal fun!

Well, since all the of the above WILL happen, I’m still excited about Summer. Let’s get ready to have some Summer-Time fun!
