Family Movie Night is a regular occurrence in our family. We're constantly trying to find movies that are relevant, as well as entertaining to the entire family. So when I found out that Hub Channel is showcasing R.L Stine: The Haunting Hour, I was so excited!! I am a huge R.L Stine from my younger days but more importantly I love the fact that my daughter was reading Goosebumps around the same age I read the series. Christopher Lloyd stars in Grandpire, the latest installment of R. L. Stine's Continue Reading

My daughter is "Directioner": A HUGE Fan of One Direction! Who is One Direction? One Direction became famous on the U.K X-Factor 2010. They were each individually entered into the contest but before they were booted off individually, they were placed together as a "Boy Band" as a lifeline by Simon Cowell. Talk about a music genius because One direction has taken the music world by storm. Okay, maybe not by storm but the kids love them. Here is your One Direction Cheat Sheet so you and your Continue Reading

October 22, 2012 by Maria

Poor Sofia, she yet to make her debut next month and already she's getting backlash from the media and the Latina community. But why? What did this little Disney Princess do? Being front and center as the 1st Latina Disney Princess is no easy feat. On one side, the Latina community is happy that their little princess can identify with another Latina in the "Princess Community". Disney clearly has come a long way. By having Princess Sofia join the ranks of Disney Princess it illustrates that Continue Reading

One of my favorite parts of October aside from trick o treating with the kids, is that October is also a birthday month for one of my children. My daughter was been wanting a Princess Themed Karaoke Party and this year, she is going to get it! . My oldest daughter plays a few musical instruments and also take private voice lessons so microphones, karaoke Cd's and other musical equipment is never far from our reach. And since October is also Halloween what better way to get more bang for your Continue Reading

In fact since our kids are about 4-5 years apart, as parents we have seen many shows over the years. MY loved seeing our children's faces light up as the lights would go dim and the music would begin. Those are memories that will be etched in our children's heart as well as ours for many years. Soaring High in the Sky w/ Shaun White Supply Co. #ShaunWhiteSupplyCo #Cbias

October 9, 2012 by Maria

My son is a typical boy that if something has a wheel on it, he LOVES it! But since his nickname is "Crash" (not kidding see pic below) we are bound to find him running into something, destroying household property or even worse injuring himself! He is a boy and inevitably we can not keep him in a bubble (he would find a way to destroy it anyway). So as doting parents, we encourage our son to enjoy the excitement & adrenaline rush of many outdoor sports including skateboarding. We started Continue Reading

Family Movie Night w/ The Avengers Blu-Ray/DVD/Graphic Novel Combo Pk #Cbias #MarvelAvengersWMT

September 28, 2012 by Maria

We love the fact that our children are getting older. One reason is our family movie night doesn't revolve around around adults wearing stuffed costumes or or animated characters singing every 5 minutes. Although we still love animated movies, the storyline are a little more appealing to adults as well as children nowadays. Marvel Avengers is a perfect fit for our growing family. There's humor, action, and characters my husband & I have enjoyed since we were kids. A few months ago my husband Continue Reading

Bed Buddy Bear® -Warming Bear from Carex Health Brands® Review

July 30, 2012 by Maria

One thing we are all to familiar with in our home is night-time growing pains. With my husband being 6'ft 5"in tall and myself being over 5' ft 9" tall, our children are enduring growing pains especially at bed-time. My 7 year old (almost 8) is right at 5 foot tall and wears a size 7 men shoe. The poor "little" guy still speaks, thinks, and acts like a like boy unfortunately his body is easily the size of an average 10 year old. Since his thighs and calves continue to give him pain during Continue Reading
