Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort #Sandestin

Sandestin Beach

My recent visit was complimentary. As always I am truthful and my travel experiences are my own.

Two weeks ago my family & I visited Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort located on Northwest Florida’s Gulf Coast. Sandestin is a 2,400-acre destination resort and is open for all seasons. Fall travel is something that I normally do solely in November, but this year we allocated a few days to celebrate daughter’s thirteenth. Our lives, like so many revolves around our weekly calendar and continuous watching of the clock. We needed a few days to decompress and the beach was ready to help us to that.

Living Room #Sandestin

Sandestin has over 1,200 condominiums, villas, town homes and a wide variety of hotel accommodations that would be perfectly suitable for any family size. Since I have a family of four, a two bedroom condo would be more than enough room to accommodate my family. Our condo was large and honestly compared to my small farm-style home in Southeast Louisiana, I was quite surprise how roomy and full of storage our condo was. Full kitchen, 2 separate sowers, washer & dryer plus a huge master bedroom closet will provide space and fit the needs of many families.

#Sandestin Master Bedroom

A two bedroom condo would be perfect for those that have small children. I notice that every room had large closets, drying rack for your swimsuits and plenty of extra bedding. Also, our condo had a several beach chairs, inner-tubes, beach balls and kites for the kids to use and return at the end of our stay. Condos are perfect for large families because you can bring extra family members like friends or siblings (and don’t forget the grandparents) without adding a huge expense for a mini vacation getaway. Having a well-stocked, full kitchen is a huge bonus for many families. We ate out for every meal on our trip (I refused to cook) but we were able to purchase milk & cereal for breakfast, snacks for the kids and also make use of leftovers when we went out for dinner. Most families can save on the extra expense buy cooking your own meals and making lunch picnics to enjoy on the balcony after swimming all day.

The resort itself offers More than seven miles of beaches and pristine bay front, four championship golf courses, 15 world-class tennis courts, 19 swimming pools, a 113-slip marina,
certified children’s programs and a fitness center + spa. If you have an active family or would just want to unwind for several days this fall, you should visit Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort. What I enjoyed is that once you arrive in Sandestin there is a list of complimentary amenities that your family can enjoy at no added cost.

Sandestin Beach & Golf Resort

Our condo front door gave us a perfect example of why so many visited Sandestin. Can you imagine playing a few rounds of golf with your husband or enjoying miniature golf with your small children? Not only did we have a of putt putt, but we rented bikes (complimentary amenity for all Sandestin guests) and rode for several hours while we enjoyed the beautiful, warm sun and amazing beach and resort views.

Morning view in Sandestin

We arrived on a Thursday evening but by Friday morning I woke up to this view. I have a hard life y’all!

Destin Beach

You can not visit Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort without beach fun. Although we traveled in October the beach & Gulf water were warm and ready to dive into. We saw crabs walking on the beach and my entire family came home with a suntan. In October?! YES!! Our condo tower, like others can enjoy easy beach access AND pool. The pool area in our condo area had more than enough seating for all its guests. Also located in the pool area is a bar-b-que grill and soft drink vending machines. Perfect for grilling hamburgers when the sun goes down.

You can find a list of upcoming fall events & current packages and deals and start planning your own family fall getaway. Stay tuned for more information regarding our recent visit to Sandestin and all the amenities we experienced. There is TONS to do with no added cost to your resort stay!

We skipped last year but had gone to Destin the previous two years for Vacations and stayed at the Majestic Sun and the Ariel Dunes. Lucky you getting an awesome beach vacation!

I am jealous. It is warm and sunny there while here in northern Minnesota, it is freezingly cold.

What a beautiful setting! The accommodations in the condo look very comfortable and the view is amazing. I’ll definitely consider Sandestin if we visit northern Florida.

Those are amazing pictures and that looks like a fabulous place to stay at. I have experienced Florida beaches around Sarasota and they were beautiful. I would love to stay at this resort next time we are in the area.

That is beautiful, the last resort I stayed in did not have rooms that were that nice, the view was good but the rooms were lacking. Of course it was a totally different state!
