Ready for a #BeachHoliday_ Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark and Resort - South Padre Island #Ad

I told myself I would take a short travel break until we were in Caribbean waters this winter. But why wait to travel to the Caribbean when you have the beach just one state away! As many of you know Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark and Resort offers families a world class accommodations and waterpark adventure but the South Padre Island location is paradise!

With over 25 acres of beachfront paradise that overlooks the beautiful Gulf beaches of Texas. When you are not basking in the sun, your family can make beautiful memories as they take on nearly two dozen world-class attractions, float one of the multiple river systems or scream with excitement as they go down 13 amazing indoor and outdoor water slides.

I know, you’re thinking South Padre Island in December? South Padre Island is very popular vacation destination even in the winter! It’s a great place for families who want to get away from the winter weather and vacation in the warm Texas climate. To sweeten the experience, I’m bringing my youngest sister, Daniella, my mother and naturally my kids. Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark and Resort knows families and how valuable the moments we create can leave a lasting impressions on our little ones. In 1966 Bob & Billye Henry along with their three children began creating what we know now as the world’s first water resort and the nation’s most popular summertime waterpark.

They took that love for family and considered what families needed when they travel into the layout and design of South Padre Island’s Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark and Resort. From Denver mattresses, room refrigerators, microwaves, safes, free Wi-Fi, large screen HDTV, Wolfgang Puck coffee and free onsite parking your family will have everything they need and then some!W Also included is a 1950’s era Grand Carousel for our little ones to enjoy.

If that wasn’t enough, South Padre Island’s Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark and Resort also features Loblolly Pines, reclaimed and re-purposed from the 2011 Bastrop, Texas wildfires. you can find Loblolly Pines in furniture to paneling on walls.

I’ve never heard of this area before! Shrimp Haus Restaurant would be my first choice of restaurants; I love local places.
