My family is full of Christmas Traditions. Something we have done since my 12 year old came into our lives is buy a special Christmas Book every year. Some years it may be a Christmas Classic, other years a religious story, and some years it may be a specific character my children are into that year or one of their all-time favorites. Every evening in December we sit before bedtime and read one Christmas book. Over the years, we solely read each book but as our children started to get older we passed the reins over to them so they can have their turn in reading our favorite Christmas book before bed every evening.

It’s a small tradition that I hope carries into their own family as they get older, but more importantly, every evening we sit and have a few minutes to defuse from the craziness of life and take the time to enjoy each others company under the beautiful Christmas lights in our home. It is not an expensive tradition but it is something that plays a special part of our Christmas Tradition.

This holiday season, Michelle Hirstius does it again with a fun tale from her Juju the Good Voodoo series. Juju is a young voodoo doll that casts “good deeds” spells all over New Orleans & into the Bayou. You never know what Juju will get herself into, but it is always a fun adventure. Want to win a Juju Saves Christmas in Da Bayou as well as the first book in the series: Juju the Good Voodoo? Enter below in the Rafflecopter Widget. Please give it a minute to load.

JUJU SAVES CHRISTMAS IN DA BAYOU

From New Orleans author and illustrator Michelle Hirstius comes her second installment of charming Juju the GOOD voodoo. We find everyone getting ready for Christmas, Santa leaves to deliver his presents when one of stops is down in “da bayou” of Louisiana. Of all things Santa and his reindeer get stuck in the swamp! Well thank goodness Juju is there to help; she singing out her “good deeds” spell and gators start to fly and they pack up Juju’s airboat and fly off to finish delivering presents to all the boy and girls. Juju saves Christmas day! It’s a page turner for all ages.

We fall in love with Juju all over again in this funny and charming tale.

Again we are left in anticipation of where she will go next or who will she help…

“Juju Saves Christmas in da Bayou” is available on Amazon.com and please refer to places available for a list of boutiques and stores in the area. Also check out her Facebook & Twitter Accounts for more information on JuJu books, events, and more fun videos
