In 2012 our friend Michelle Hirstius created a loveable children’s book character called Juju. Juju’s first book “Juju the GOOD voodoo” launched online and in local Southeast Louisiana boutiques. Over a short time, Michelle & Juju created a following a fans that love Juju’s key message: You can be YOU.
In her books, Juju comes alive and casts “good deeds” spell down in “da bayou” of Louisiana. We all expect find a voodoo doll in those parts, but Juju is no ordinary voodoo doll. Her lovable personality finds adventure and in the most unusual places.
In Juju’s newest adventure: Juju in Easterland? Who knew, Juju saves Easter and learn about a magical land full of color, candy and where delicious Elmer chocolate eggs come from. Elmer’s Chocolate is a personal favorite of mine! Pecan eggs & Heavenly Hash are my favorite Easter Candies. Be sure to look for them at your favorite grocery store. Juju’s newest book is available on Amazon, in local boutiques and in book stores throughout Southeast Louisiana.
If you are in the area, be sure to check your calendar. Juju makes special appearances throughout Southeast Louisiana.

My favorite book would have to be Little Women. I can read it over and over.
Seasame Street- The Monster at the end of this book
The Little Train That Could
Good night moon
i liked the hungry catapillar
My favorite book was OLD YELLER
Anything Clifford
My favorite was Old Rabbit the Voodoo and the Wizard of Oz.
My favorite book was “Where The Red Fern Grows”. Not too sure about this book…voodoo & easter together, that just seems a bit weird. Easter is to celebrate the Resurrection of Jesus and not bunnies, eggs or voodoo. The artwork is adorable, though!
