The Sims™4 Now Available and More Creative Than EVER #TheSims4 #CollectiveBias #shop

The great thing about having older children if playing with their toys. In my case, we’re talking the new The Sims™ 4 which launched this September in the U.S. Both my teen daughter and my son love The Sims Series. In case you’re not familiar, The Sims 4 is a life simulation game which takes the characters you create and allows their creative personalities to shine. Players control their Sims characters in various activities and form relationships with other Sims.

Now that The Sims™ 4 has officially launched, I was able to find my copy to purchase at Walmart. I went online prior to it’s release and found that Walmart had the best price by $5-$10. Since my family saves video game purchases for Christmas & birthdays, saving my family money for a splurge like this is very important to me. Besides, I can picked up The Sims™ 4 and my groceries for the week in one stop.

My kids were ecstatic when I arrived home today! Both my kids started to play fight over who would get to play the game first. What they didn’t realize was I was about to get first dibs.

Become an original and create your own Sims characters. For those of you who are unfamiliar, users can use various Sim toolsets that let you to mold premade facial and body pieces into an original avatar. Your character can be similar to you as you would like or you can create a totally new identity. I chose someone who looked similar to me but I can also create a standard Sims that other users may initiate as their own as well.

The Sims 4 allows you to download both Sims and buildings from the game’s “community” section. Your characters have to cover the cost with in-game Simoleans or homestead by picking through the game’s two “towns”. This option allows users to live of families who have already members of the Sims world. You can also travel into six types of destinations: parks, museums, libraries, bars, lounges, and nightclubs.

What’s my favorite part of the The Sims™ 4?
The emotional system that each Sims character has is very unique. You can create personal trajectories for each character. In addition, certain personality traits can be rewarded with Satisfaction Points. This allows various perks to be earned throughout the game. I also like that we can now use community toolsets to borrow other people’s creations. Also, the creative home-building toolset allow you to create complex structures with little assistance.

This surely is different and very creative. It is hard to keep up with it all when your own kids are adults but I am still always looking for things like this to buy as gifts for a couple of young nieces and nephews.
