A Celebration of Giving Thanks & Giving Back- Johnson & Johnson Gift Box Giveaway Ends 12/8/12

November 30, 2012 by Maria

Since July I have been working with Entre Tu y Tu/ Johnson & Johnson which provided me with products to review and monthly giveaways collections for my readers. Like most families, Johnson & Johnson as been apart of my life since I can remember, not just my own young family, but as a child as well. With a company that has been around for well over 100 years, it's not a far stretch to say the company will be apart of many families for years to come. But in truth, the Johnson & Johnson brand is Continue Reading

A Mother’s Reflection: A Silent Tree

November 29, 2012 by Maria

Today was a rare day off of work during the week. I sat outside under one of our patio areas and noticed something. Our big beautiful backyard tree seems so sad to me. With almost 2 acres of land, I noticed this tree today. I can see this tree from my kitchen window & our dining room area. Years ago I would leave the backdoor open and hear the giggling of 2 small children under that same tree. Once upon a time, that same tree was a pivotal area on our property. It was the central hub for many Continue Reading

WRRYFree Skin Care Review & Giveaway Ends 9/4

Since my husband works outdoors, the sun does a number on his skin. I'm constantly reminding him that he needs to apply sunscreen or add moisturizer to prevent the sun Continue Reading

Back to School Shopping Haul- Thrift Store Edition

July 26, 2012 by Maria

In our area Back to School starts the August 8th. Yup, that means right around the corner. My 11 (almost 12) year old daughter is 5'ft 3" in tall & is currently in Ladies/Junior Sizing. The hardest thing to buy for her is bottoms. We went to Academy Sports & Outdoors last weekend to purchase her uniform tops & khaki shorts. What I came out with was 4 short sleeved junior girl tops, 5 khaki shorts, 2 pairs of gym type shorts, a backpack for my son , & a drink/snack for myself (I Continue Reading
