It’s no surprise that what most people associate with Walt Disney World are the rides and the characters. However, there are also dozens of shows happening everyday throughout all of the parks. Lots of people feel like they need to get their money out of the tickets and to them, that means riding as many of the attractions as possible. However, there are many shows that make for great experiences as well. Of course, Disney parades are magically in and of themselves and shouldn’t be missed but won’t be included in this list.
Magic Kingdom
Country Bear Jamboree is a stage show that features animatronic singing bears. This seems to be a love it or hate it show however it’s a great way to break up the day in an air conditioned hall. Many kids enjoy the singing bears while adults may be more amused by the witty humor.
Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor is a screen based stage show where the monsters interact and tell jokes to guests. The humor appeals to a wide range of audiences and the jokes are always changing based on the audience, so you can attend several times and have completely different experiences.
Epcot
There are many different shows and performances at Epcot Center, as each country in the world showcase offers something to visitors and there are shows in each section –some only a few minutes, others longer. You won’t be able to see all the entertainment in a single day, but you can try!
Mo’Rockin at the Morocco pavilion is a fusion of rock, Middle Eastern, African, and Spanish music plus belly dancing (and even some lessons!) all of which make for a great and entertaining performance. If you want to see the show, attend earlier in the day as in the evenings it fills up more quickly.
Ellen’s Energy Adventure in Future World is an educational but entertaining show featuring Ellen DeGeneres, Bill Nye the Science Guy, and Jamie Lee Curtis. It combines video, animatronics and voice overs to talk about where our energy comes from and how we use it.
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
This park may not see the volume of the other three but for film aficionados it’s worth the visit!
Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular
This show has been in place for 25 years but the appeal hasn’t ended. This live action stunt show keeps both kids and adults on the edge of their seat for thirty heart racing minutes.
Beauty and the Beast Live on Stage
Disney’s longest running show, this film adaptation for the stage was so popular it was taken to Broadway as well. Watch the story unfold and hear the classic songs from this animated hit.
Animal Kingdom
Finding Nemo: The Musical
The abridged version of the Disney movie is often listed as the best show at Disney World. This is a Broadway quality show and you can use your Fastpass+ to reserve a time, just be sure to show up at the time listed as there is only a short window of time before the auditorium is opened for non-Fastpass guests.
Festival of the Lion King
Another abridged version of the classic Disney animation. There are lots of acrobatics and dance performances that make the show really stand out.
What are some of your favorite Disney shows?

Laugh Floor at Magic Kingdom was one of our favorites for sure! We missed a few of the others at the other parks but look forward to heading down to DW again! Thanks for the heads up!
One of these days I totally have to get my kids there. They are now old enough to appreciate all that Disney has to offer. It is definitely on our bucket list.
I need to go here with the kids, they will just have a blast! I didn’t know they had so many shows
I would love to see Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular–Indiana Jones is one of my favorites and I watch the movies whenever they come on TV. I have been to Epot and I agree there is a whole lot to do there!
I wish I could say I had one but have only been able to visit Disney one time. But this whets my appetite and make me want to go back!
This is a great post indeed. I would love to take the kids to all of these places some day. Hollywood Studios would be so much fun. Thanks for sharing.
