Let’s face it, being a woman is hard. We make tough important choices every day of every year. The choice to go back to work was a very challenging decision my family & I made. I remember going back to work full-time after being a SAHM for several years. I was excited about the new adventure ahead for me, but very sad at the same time. I would miss my kids. I needed them, just like they needed me. I wanted to be home, but the economy was making a sudden downturn and I was afraid & worried about what would lay ahead for us if I didn’t return back to work.
What I needed was strength!
I needed to be strong for my children. I had given both my kids a good, solid foundation. Since they were older at this point, I knew I could count on my family to help carry the extra weight & burden of my new full-time job. With the help of my entire family, we created a new routine for our family. I would lay out our extra curricular activities calendar for the week and my husband & I would discuss who would bring which child to a specific locations. We also would plan homework duty, dinners menus, and of course squeeze in a little time for ourselves. but the biggest obstacle I had to overcome was asking for help! My parents wanted to help and there were times that I needed parents and sisters to help bring one child to school if I was on a trip or had to be at work extra early (or come home late) and would miss bus pickup.
Over the last 3 years, we are constantly fine-tuning our daily parenting routine & manage to be pretty successful at multitasking/managing our time even than we had in the past. The strength I had several years ago is what keeps me going today. When I’m not able to make it to school-time band performance I know I will try even harder to make it to the next one. It’s the strength that keeps me going. You know, it’s not for everyone.
Regardless of what choices we made, sometimes women just need to be 2’s stronger!
Being 2’s stronger always comes in handy, especially when choosing toilet paper. If you have kids then you know how rough children can be with any brand of toilet paper. Angel Soft toilet paper is the perfect balance of softness and strength. What’s even better is that Angel Soft is affordable for most family budgets. Angel Soft has Softshield layers now are now stronger than ever so they can hold up better when wet. For little hands, this is a big plus! Check it out: www.angelsoft.com
My husband always jokes that we should always have a stockpile of toilet paper for various reasons. Aside from buying in bulk , we can save time and gas money by have a full replenishment stock in our home. And since we aren’t going to stop buying toilet paper anytime soon, we need a brand that is also affordable. If you love to save money, you can print a coupon for Angel Soft directly from my website.
