Did you know one good idea can change an entire community! State Farm is helping communities across the US and Canada by giving away 40 – $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist grants through the State Farm Neighborhood Assist. I mentioned last week how you can submit your idea to help communities like mine inviting you to submit your cause via the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Facebook app. As of March 3rd, causes have started being accepted via the app, and with a total of only 4000 causes being accepted, you need to move quickly to ensure that your cause makes it in for consideration. They are over halfway to their 4,000 goal of ideas before a the State Farm Youth Advisory Board will identify the top 200 based on a scoring rubric. Then the top 40 causes will win a grant for their community! As of this minute, there are only 2,589 submission spots left.
My familia and I live in a small community outside of New Orleans. When a company like State Farms offers the opportunity to win our small community $25,000 we need to take advantage of it. The 40 $25,000 State Farm Neighborhood Assist grants can be used to help fund projects and improve educational opportunities in your neighborhood. Developing my small town is vital! Since Hurricane Katrina our small town has grown over the last 8 years and we need to continuously improve our public area like ballparks, playgrounds and ad additional community events throughout the year. But we need funding to strengthen our neighborhood so we can give our familia a better life. If your community could use some extra funding, State Farm is inviting you to submit your cause via the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Facebook app so please share this with your local community organizer.
How does the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Program work?
Ste 1: Submit your ideas for causes via the free State Farm Neighborhood Assist Facebook app.
Step 2: Submit idea before they reach the maximum of 4,000 cause. Once submissions are received by the deadline of March 23 or earlier, the State Farm Youth Advisory Board will identify the top 200 based on a scoring rubric.
Step 3: The top 200 causes will be announced on 4/28. If you have a Facebook account can vote for their favorite causes with up to 10 votes per day until May 16.
Step 4: The top 40 vote-receiving causes will then each receive a $25,000 grant to help their community fund their cause.
Step 5: On May 27th, 2014 the top 40 vote-receiving causes will be announced via the State Farm Neighborhood Assist Facebook app.
Start with Step One and submit your idea before the Top 4k is reached!
