The Holidays can be stressful especially when you have little ones. This year it seems like our two children have asked Santa for almost zilch! I should be thrilled right? Somehow it makes me sad. I remember those days when my littles were running around the Christmas tree in diapers and trying to yank all my pretty ornaments off of my beautiful tree.

I miss those days!

New Orleans City Park - Celebration in the Oaks #MerryMakers #IHeartCityPark #Citgo2014

I remember days when we timed and planned EVERYTHING! When my oldest was a baby we planned everything. I statistically planned her naps, when we ran errands, when we left the house and of course when I had a chance to rest. Life seems like a well-oiled machine. But sometimes disaster strikes!

My favorite holiday mishap was on Christmas Eve when my daughter (now a teen) was a baby. My daughter was dressed perfectly in her Holiday outfit and we were on our way to our good friends house before making our way to my In-Laws for late dinner. I bundled my baby in her car seat and we drove in perfect holiday bliss to our friends house that night.

I took my baby into our friends home and said our hellos to all of our guests. Little did I know that my daughter had a MAJOR accident all over her beautiful holiday outfit. HUGE! Unfortunately for me, did her diaper not protect her, her outfit was ruined. It seems like there wasn’t a spot that she had “messed on” and it wasn’t the wet kind either! Her diaper problems were due to the gathering by her legs and her holiday outfit. Now that Luvs Leak Barrier Leg Gathers ensure leaks and protection so your baby’s holiday outfits and their diaper stays dry and right where they belong!

Staying dry is so important for our babies skin and our sanity! This holiday season Luvs wants you to know that your baby can be leak free so everyone can enjoy a good night’s rest and enjoy our holiday festivities. Luvs is now offering the largest absorbency area ever. Luvs can lock away wetness—even overnight so you and your baby get the sleep you both need. That’s a presents every mother needs!

Awww, bummer that her outfit was ruined lol. Something similar happened to me with my youngest son at a party we were at. No fun.

My daycare boy uses Luvs and they work perfectly. No spills and that means a lot, especially since he is so active.

I have actually never had a holiday mishap I am thankful to say. Here is a party mishap that happened to me. I made a lemon meringue pie one day covered it with saran wrap and left with it. It was so windy outside it blew the saran wrap and the meringue off the pie. No one believed me I had even put meringue on it

Not a funny memory really, but when my middle child was born, I had a cesarean and was too tired to do much a week later. I fell asleep and slept through our family meal. Oops.

I can remember a few of those incidents too way back when. You always had to bring a change of clothes for the little one and sometimes yourself. It is great that parents have a more dependable diaper now days.

I’ve never had a holiday mishap but I have had other mishaps with diapers before. I have never really used Luvs but have heard great things about it.

My mishaps happened when I tried Pampers diapers. I immediately switched to Luv’s and never had that problem again. My daughter just gave birth to twins and I am trying to show her that Luv’s is the better diaper.

Diaper leaks turn normal errands into disasters. You never know it’s happening until it’s too late!

That sounds like a holiday mishap we would have had. It seemed like every time I dressed my kids up for a special event, something went wrong.

Sometimes the less than perfect moments make for funny stories later on. Sorry about the ruined outfit though.
