With all the meal planning, budgeting, & bargain shopping that I do, one thing that always passes my thoughts is dog food. Since our dog Mia is an old elderly canine, we can’t just purchase just any brand of food for her. She is frail ( due to an accident she had prior to our parents adopting her) & cold weather really takes a toll on her bones. And since she doesn’t get much exercise, weight management is also a factor. My favorite part of Mr. Chewy.com is they offer free shipping over $49!! That’s a huge savings considering that dry dog food is fairly heavy in weight.
I was easily able to find Mia’s dry dog food which suits her needs for senior health. I placed my order last Thursday around 3pm & received my shipping confirmation by dinnertime that very same day. Talk about super fast shipping! Since it was a weekend I received our order Monday afternoon via UPS.
As you can see in the picture above, I ordered 3 large- 22lb bags of Pedigree. Each package was shipped in it’s own box for a total of 3 boxes at my doorstep. The free Shipping really saved me a pretty penny!!
