Me & Mom with me and my brother #Everyday Ivory

One thing I remember about my mother and grandmother (and provably yours too) is how much time and effort they spent on their skin. But their beauty regimen was simplistic compared to today’s standards. Pure, clean and free of heavy dyes or perfumes was their go-to requirements. It’s no surprise that Ivory soap is something they gravitated to as I did growing up.

Ivory’s products are 99.44% pure and clean which is why it’s recommended by 4 out of 5 doctors for the whole family ages 3 and up. My son has super sensitive skin so since Ivory is free of dyes and paraben-free, it gives our entire family the refreshing and pure cleansing our family needs throughout the year (even in the hot, sticky summer months).

Now that I have a teenage daughter it’s a product Now that I have a teenage daughter, it’s easy for her to sway toward other products but like women in my family, Ivory bar soap is recommended by 4 out of 5 moms plus she can use Ivory bar soap as a facial cleanser as well. That eliminates the need for multiple products and helps her feel less overwhelmed when it comes to her beauty regimen. Plus she can trust Ivory since it’s something generations before her have been using, just like I did. Curious about my teenage daughter’s skincare regimen?

Teenage Daughter 4-Step Skincare Regimen:

My daughter doesn’t have time for multiple skincare products so she uses 4 multi-purpose products to make her skincare regimen go swiftly.

1. She uses Ivory soap as a cleanser which gives her that clean, fresh feeling she’s looking for. It’s perfect for her sensitive skin and since we buy a multi-pack, she has additional bars of soap for shower-time.

2. She uses a moisturizer which she helps her mild acne. My daughter is active is sports which means that extra perspiration can cause mild acne!

3. Since my daughter is always on the go, she uses pore strips on occasion which helps eliminate and remove blackheads.

4. Clean sweep once a week! My daughter likes to use a masks or facial scrub once a week. She uses Sundays to focus on skin and hair maintenance since her Fridays and Saturdays are always booked and weekdays are for after school clubs and sports.

Although her skincare regimen is simplistic not only does it keep her face looking fresh and clean but she’s also learning how important skincare is at all ages. Plus she’s learning about which products are suitable for her sensitive skin and leave her feeling pure and clean.
