Celebrate My Drive from Statefarm #CelebrateMyDrive

This is part of a sponsored collaboration with Latina Mom Bloggers and State Farm. However, all opinions expressed are my own.

It’s time! The State Farm Celebrate My Drive Campaign is now taking commitments to celebrate safe driving. Guess what is the first thing I noticed when I went on the website> As of right now, a Louisiana school is in the Top 5 Small School Leader-board. The more commitments each school received the better chance your school has to win a school grant. As a mother of a teen, safe driving is so important to me and other mothers around me. I always make sure that I am showing good signs of safe driving and instilling that into my teen now. Having a teen driver is scary but not knowing if other drivers are using safe driving habits is event scarier. I am so glad that State Farm has team with and formed the Celebrate Your Drive Campaign. Let’s all get involved and safe not just our own teen from a possibly accident but others as well.

I encourage you to make an online “commitment” to safe driving and educate your teen and others on how important safe driving is. As of right now, there are over 1/2 a million commitments made in the few few days of the campaign. Less than 70 schools are registered in Louisiana. We can do better than that! If your school is not registered choose the school closest to your nearest teen or local community. Safe driving is so important so whether your school wins a grant or not, we are all winners simply by being safe drivers.

Hurry, get your school involved and make the Commitment!

Wouldn’t it be great to be the school that wins the concert and the $100,000 Grant. I need to see if my Grandkids school is involved yet.

I don’t have a teen, but I appreciate that they are encouraging parents to continue to take an active role as their children have already passed the driving test and to continue to encourage good driving habits.

I love the idea of getting everyone (no matter the age!) to commit to safe driving. I see so many drivers eating/texting/reading?! and other things while driving and it drives (haha) me crazy!

I had no idea State Farm did this, I have been a customer with them for years. Makes me happy to be their customer.

Any activity that pushes for responsible driving (regardless of age) has my approval. I feel so bad reading about senseless vehicular accidents just because of distracted driving.

State farm is a good company and they promote safe driving, what a good campaign.

Programs like this are needed more and more each year now that they have been removed from the school systems. My sons are adults but I wish these would have been in place back then.

I’ve heard of this and I think it’s absolutely fantastic that state farm has put this together. What a wonderful way to get teens to drive safely. I know my son will get there some day and I really hope something like this will be around when it’s his turn.

This is a great way to remind parents the importance of educating their teens about safe driving! I hope many more schools take advantage of this!
