Every year my family & I visit Pigeon Forge, we plan our attraction stops months in advanced. No matter how many visits we make, we never get tired of the area. One reason is that there are so many great family friendly attractions in the area! So when a new attraction opens up we HAVE to stop and visit. The LumberJack Feud – Pigeon Forge Dinner Theater is one of the newer attractions in the Pigeon Forge area. Last Thanksgiving my family wanted to stop and enjoy the experience, but we were jam packed with other scheduled events that we missed out. So while visiting Pigeon Forge during Brandcation this month, I was so excited to find out that The LumberJack Feud – Pigeon Forge Dinner Theater was going to be one of our attraction stops!

The LumberJack Feud – Pigeon Forge Dinner Theater
was an amazing experience. The gift shop and entrance area resembled a large comfortable cabin feeling. As we walked through the door, staff was nothing but welcoming. The owner, Rob Scheer (3 time world champion speed climber and the first man to win the coveted title of IRONJACK World Champion) was there to greet our large group of 34 bloggers. He explained to us about the Lumberjack Feud, the Lumberjack Sports International and his love for outdoor sports. He is a busy man, not only is he the owner of LumberJack Feud in Pigeon Forge, but he is also President and CEO of Lumberjack Sports International and The Great Alaskan Lumberjack Show!

We entered the Lumberjack Theater and were greeted by our servers who took our food orders. We received our dinner in a picnic style basket setting. The show was going to begin and I had no clue what to expect?

What we experienced was an amazing night filled with food, laughter, sport, community and family spirit. If your thinking that the LumberJack Feud Dinner Show is just for the boys, you are seriously mistaken! Not only was there tons of comedic moments, but the kids were able to get involved several times within the show. The athletic competitive moments were fun because you were rooting for a specific group of Lumberjacks & LumberJills to win their events. Perfect for the family or large events.

4 Bayou Fleur DeLis Rating

Pigeon Forge has plenty of song & dance locations, and the LumberJack Feud is the complete opposite. The show has historical & educational references that give a small glimpse of the Smokey Mountains and it’s first settlers of the area. The facilities & arena is immaculate. Location is easy to get to from Parkway in Pigeon Forge with a large parking lot. Price is comparable to other dinner shows and the food was actually better than some of the other dinner shows in the area. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 Bayou Fleur DeLis rating is the sport is not for everyone. Some may think it is loud due to the chain saws, but I thought it was a decent noise level. For my own family I would give it a 5 rating, but since others have different situations for their families I think a 4 is probably the lowest ANYONE could give it!! My school aged children will love it!! In fact, this is one of my favorite parts from my recent trip.

Disclosure: My visit to Lumberjack Feud which included admission & dinner was complimentary. My opinions and thoughts are my own and can not be influenced in any way.

What a cool show – I don’t know if the adults would enjoy this more than the kids lol!
