There are some topics in this world that you will never stop hearing about. Religion, politics, If I pull 1 grey hair will 4 grow in its place? Anyway, it’s Bathroom business. Bathroom business is a dirty business! Yes, I’m going there. You would think having a 9 year old & 13 year old that my days of discussing the bathroom would be over by now? I hate to tell you this, but no. In addition to my own children having bathroom discussion, I work in a nursing home and so some reason, the subject is timeless. So let’s just say I’m very comfortable discussing the topic.
So when Triberr was looking for Brand Ambassadors for their new Cottonelle Campaign I knew this would be a topic I am all too familiar with. Triberr recently rolled out Triberr Campaigns & chose 50 bloggers (out of over 300 applicants) to participate in the New Cottonelle ‘Let’s talk bums’ Campaign. Guess what? I was chosen!! So why is everyone so secretive about bathroom business? We all go to the bathroom and take care of our business, but when you have children there has to be a discussion. We discuss if they go to often, if they don’t go often enough, and sometimes kids are just mesmerized by their accomplishments in the bathroom. If you don’t have a son, you don’t want to know. Trust me!
Cottonelle is releasing a series of funny, short videos featuring Cherry Healey, a documentary filmmaker. In the short videos series, Cherry decides to travel to America to discuss the taboo subject of bathroom business and brings Contonelle & Cottonelle Disposable Wipes along for an exciting, fun journey across the pond. Over the next 6 weeks I’ll be sharing these funny videos with you and hope to keep the discussion going. If you weren’t comfortable before, you will soon. Check the video out and let me know what you think.

Have you had any interesting bathroom discussions with your family? Give me some good ones, ladies!!

First of all GEAUX TIGERS!! I am an LSU Alumni, and I live up in Shreveport. Already have tickets for the LSU Texas A&M game this November. So excited about this campaign, sounds like a lot of fun with Cottonelle.
Jen, you have impeccable taste in football. I like you already!
Congrats on Becoming a Brand Ambassador for Cottonelle! It is all we use in our house!
Looking forward to working with you on this campaign!
I love that Cherry Healey and Cottonelle is making bum talk funny and light hearted!
All this talking about bums hehe, Lovin’ it! Excited to be working with you on this awesome campaign!
It’s very interesting that we speak so openly about our children and their bathroom business, but don’t really address what’s going on with our own. This is a fun campaign, and I love all of the humor that it has brought out
And isn’t Cherry just adorable?!
I don’t have boys (3 girls here) but I do have a husband who is like my 4th child…lol! Oh, and then there’s my father in law who lives in our basement and he’s pretty much like having a 14 year old boy around. He’s more than happy to discuss his bathroom accomplishments regularly (yikes)! Thank goodness for Cottonelle, right? 😉
No kids here, but being clean in all areas–especially that one–is good for anyone! I’ve seen this commercial many, many times.
Oh yes…we have lots of discussions as well. I have a 7 year old with autism – nothing phases me.
Love the campaign name! So catchy! “Down and Dirty” Love it!
Realizing that the older one gets, the harder it is to wipe (you work w/the elderly you know of which I speak) bum wiping w/wipes is a habit I’m trying to get Sweeetie into. Enough said. Oh, liked the video too. ; ) BB2U
I’ve seen her commercials on TV and although I live in New York where you pretty much see it all (especially on the subway), if someone came up to me and asked me about my bum and my bathroom business, they’d get a typical New York response! 😉
