Cascade Platinum Shining Rating Review Party #CascadeShiningReviews

As women we work practically 16 hours a day! Between my regular full-time job, being a blogger and being the CEO of my household there is very little time for a do-over especially when it comes to chores. So when I’m doing chores I need to make sure I’m using the best products for my monies worth. For my dishwasher I have used store brands (as clumpy, soggy no-no) and various brand name dishwasher detergent. The difference between brands is clear, crystal clear!

Clean, Ultimate Clean – Cascade Platinum #CascadeShiningReviews #DDDivas

Cascade Platinum has become my choice for dishwasher detergent. Why? Because Cascade Platinum works best when food soil is left on dishes. Say WHAT?!? Yes, Cascade Platinum works best with leftover food soil because its special enzymes latch onto that food, breaking it down so it can wash away.

Between leaving my FT job, volleyball games, ball park duty and more, pre-wash is a thing of the past for me. Instead, I can toss the large bits of food into the trash or garbage disposal and that’s it. No running dishes under the water first, just load my dishes into the dishwasher and walk away. Time is Money.

Clean, Ultimate Clean – Cascade Platinum #CascadeShiningReviews #DDDivas

Since Cascade Platinum delivers ultimate clean results, I was asked to host a #CascadeShiningReviews party at my house. At my party not only were we able to have some of our favorite comfort foods but I left my dishes so my guest can see how powerful Cascade Platinum detergent and rinse aid really is. The hardest part of this get together is leaving dirty dishes for my guest to see. Luckily I had family over so they knew I don’t regularly have a sink full of dishes in my kitchen 24/7!

Our menu included home-style items like Mac n’ Cheese (courtesy of The Pioneer Woman), a brownie experiment and some very hungry guests. If your an avid home chef, you know that baked starches and proteins on baking dishes requires deep cleaning. The goal at my party is to demonstrate how Cascade Platinum can perform on heavily soiled dishes without pre-washing will still leave my dishes immaculately clean every single time.

Comfort Food

This is where I come clean. Truth: I am a huge fan of aluminum foil baking pans, roasters etc. I know they are wasteful and bad for the environment but like I mentioned before time is money. If I can save time, it is worth the money in my book. But since my family is trying to cut back this fall (only 17 more Fridays until Christmas), switching back over to my baking dishes is a more economical choice.

Before & After Picture #DDDives

Notice my sink full of dishes. I am going to put these dishes straight into the dishwasher and not start the cycle until my guests come over. Then I can illustrate the power Cascade Platinum and immaculately clean dishes each and every time despite food stuck on dishes for 24 hour straight.

Mac n’ Cheese, brownies and clean dishes. Loading the dishwasher is as easy as pie. Now my 10 year old can help with the dishes and we can skip the pre-wash system we had previously. Try it for yourself and use the hashtag: #CascadeShiningReviews on twitter to share your experience. Even better, take a picture before and after you have used Cascade Platinum without pre-washing your dishes. We want to see your immaculately clean dishes! You can also visit Cascade and give your own honest opinion of Cascade Platinum.

Don’t forget to utilize the dishwasher loading tips that Cascade has provided me and my guests. Be sure to share the picture below on Pinterest. Tips to achieve immaculately clean dishes is something every household needs. Maybe you can get your kids to help you as well!

I make sure to soak them thoroughly and manually scrub off any hard stains that might be difficult to remove.

    Thank you!

I always soak my really crusty dishes in the sink with a dryer sheet over night. It all comes RIGHT off that way!

I make sure to place and space the dishes in the dishwasher nicely to properly clean them best!

  5. Liz Mays says

Ok, what? It works best WITH food residue. Now that’s gonna take me some training to not rinse.

I would love a dishwasher (well other than the other half) will have to tell my Mum about this product though as I’m sure it would save her time not having to prewash :)

I love cascade products! I always add a little white distilled vinegar to the bottom of the washer, it helps make your glasses spotless, please cleans the dishwasher too!

My dish washing tips are to basically use my favorite Cascade Complete. That is our go to brand. We’ve tried other brands and they’ve not worked at all.

Holy brownie batter Batman! That bowl came out perfectly clean! My hubs always makes fun of me because I practically wash the dishes before I put them in the dishwasher. But I think I just started saving a whole lot of time!

Keeping the dishwasher clean with a vinegar wash once a month helps keep it running well and keeps my dishes even cleaner!

My dishes don’t look that clean even with a pre-wash any more. May have to try this – or get my dishwasher fixed :(

  21. Kenda says

    August 27, 2014 at 10:41 pm

I can definitely tell when the dishwasher is loaded incorrectly – stuff does NOT come clean. Biggets pet peeve is opening the dishwasher and finding dirty dishes still. Yuck.

  27. Theresa says

I always pre rinse, though they say it’s not needed. I find they do get cleaner if I rinse first.

  28. Linda Carmical says

    August 28, 2014 at 3:23 am

Cascade has ALWAYS been my favorite! For about 34 or so years now! It was the best back when I was a kid and it’s come a long long way!

  29. Tiffany Steadman-Collins says

    August 28, 2014 at 3:24 am

I wash all my dishes by hand as we don’t have a dishwasher. So anything crusty I soak before I wash anything that’s a bit more harder.

  30. Pam says

    August 28, 2014 at 4:36 am

I always use Cascade in my dishwasher but I do admit to using different types from time to time. I am pretty anal about making sure my dishes are rinsed well and washed within an hour after the meal is finished.

  31. Amanda Love says

    August 28, 2014 at 1:52 pm

I actually use Cascade but sometimes alternate with Finish. We have very hard water here in CO so I always need a booster to make sure my dishes shine.

  32. Rebecca N says

    August 28, 2014 at 2:48 pm

I try not to overload the dishwasher. It’s old and can’t handle too much at once.

  33. Arena Thompson says

    August 28, 2014 at 6:06 pm

I run the sanitize cycle to make sure things get extra clean :)

  34. Ann Bacciaglia says

  35. Tami says

We don’t have a dishwasher here, it’s all done by hand. However, we love Cascade products and usually use their dish soap.

  36. Marielle Altenor says

    August 29, 2014 at 2:36 am

While some will dream of fancy cars, I dream of a dishwasher! I simply HATE doing dishes. When I get my dishwasher, I’m getting some Cascade Platinum!

  37. marnie ward says

    August 29, 2014 at 3:21 am

When I have a big dinner party I try to separate the dishes from the pots and pans. I do 2 loads and with the help of Cascade that does the trick. I don’t even have to scrup any dishes, I just wash plates with silverware and dishes, and then pots and pans with serving bowls.

  38. Melissa says

    August 29, 2014 at 3:26 am

Cascade products are great. I always organize my dishes inside my washer. I don’t know if they get cleaner that way but it makes putting them away a cinch.

  39. Aisha Kristine Chong says

    August 29, 2014 at 11:53 am

I bet that would be good to try at home!

  40. Megan B. says

I soak particularly stuck on messes in hot water for a while, before scrubbing them!

  41. Natalie says

    August 29, 2014 at 9:02 pm

My best tip is to make sure you leave space in your dishwasher and do not crowd the bottom rack too much otherwise the dishes on top will not get clean.

  42. jenn giannetto says

    August 30, 2014 at 1:59 am

i always make sure to rinse dishes when i put them in the sink so that the food doesnt get stuck on.

Oh I use Cascade Platnium!! I switched from finnish and cascade complete when my sister let me try it and i was shcked at how good it works. No spots no extra scrubing, no film left in the lasses i made smoothies in!!!

  44. Debra Holloway says

    August 30, 2014 at 6:40 pm

I pre-rinse my dishes before running them through the dishwasher. This also keeps food from clogging up the drain in it.

  45. carol w says

I rinse before I put them in the dishwasher.

  46. Tracy Batwinas says

Keeping my dishwasher clean is my only tip.

  51. Emily Smith says

I make sure to soak any dishes that have dried on food.

  52. shaunie says

  56. Wehaf says

Our dishwasher seems to do a good job. We don’t buy discount-brand detergent; we find it doesn’t work as well.

  57. Jennifer Reed says

    September 2, 2014 at 7:47 am

As much as I dislike doing it my best tip for getting dishes clean in the dishwasher is pre washing them in the sink first.

  58. Nicole-Lynn says

    September 2, 2014 at 1:44 pm

I like to soak hard, stuck on foods in the sink a little before adding them to the dishwasher. That helps remove any food buildup, so I can ensure the dish gets clean in the dishwasher. Thanks for the opportunity to try these Cascade products!

  59. Anne says

    September 2, 2014 at 3:01 pm

We rent, and our dishwasher is not the greatest. So unfortunately, I sometimes have to get my dishes clean by handwashing them after running them through the dishwasher. Now I’m wondering if Cascade might help with that…

  60. Dominique says

    September 2, 2014 at 4:15 pm

My mom always taught me to prewash, but I’d love to find a soap that allows me to not do that!

I just soak and scrub the dishes.

  62. Shannon F says
