There is nothing more that tugs at a woman’s heart than the love between a father & his children. Whether you have a daughter or son, their relationship is equally as important as our own relationship with our children. It’s no surprise that a children’s book can depict the very emotions we as woman want for our children. Recently released children’s book ‘Because I’m Your Dad’ By Ahmet Zappa recreates that emotion. This whimsical book explains how innocent & silly the love between a father & child can be yet how extremely important it is that have.

Beautifully illustrated by Dan Santat, who happens to be creator of Disney’s animated hit “The Replacements”, ‘Because I’m your Dad’ is the perfect book addition for your family library. Whether you know a new dad or just want to give your own children a gentle reminder, Because I’m Your Dad is a touching story you will enjoy.

More Information From Publisher
In Ahmet Zappa’s first picture book for children, Because I’m Your Dad, a dad like no other promises to give his kid a childhood like no other. Whimsical monster characters bring the silly and sweet scenes to life and keep the book universal. The book’s ending, a moving tribute to the author’s father, guarantees intergenerational appeal: “Because I’m your dad, I will do all of these things for you and more…because that’s what my dad did for me.” Both a tribute to his happy childhood and a promise to his daughter, Halo, for a one-of-a-kind relationship, “I wrote this book for anyone who is a father, has a father, or hopes to someday be a father,” says Zappa.

About Ahmet Zappa:
Ahmet Zappa is the son of late rock musician/composer Frank Zappa and, as he puts it, “My awesome mother, Gail.” Ahmet grew up with a learning disability and now writes books to help children discover how wonderful reading can be. Through his production company, Monsterfoot Productions, Ahmet has developed several television shows and movies, including the recently-released Walt Disney Pictures feature film “The Odd Life of Timothy Green.” Ahmet, Shana, and their daughter Halo live in Los Angeles, CA under a rainbow with their three fur goblins: Sandwich, Luna, and Figgy. I will definitely add this to the list of gifts for the new Dad, they often get left out of the gift giving process, and I was doing the Dad Diaper Bags for awhile, but I like to mix it up!

This looks like a great read. Our first book before my daughter was born was “Guess How Much I Love You!” and we’ve used it with all our children.
