Who said cleaning can’t be eco-friendly, beautiful & inspiring at the same time? Green Works® products (The Clorox Company) has a complete line of cleaning products that are derived from 95% natural ingredients & completely effective, show it’s support by partnering with Ian Somerhalder, star of “The Vampire Diaries” & artist Mr. Kiji (Kiji McCafferty) to help raise awareness for the Reverse Graffiti Project gallery benefitting the Ian Somerhalder Foundation.
The artist used Green Works cleaners as the medium to create beautiful murals in a mundane underpass in Silver Lake (Los Angeles), with the hope that the unexpected art exhibit illustrates that cleaning can be beautiful and inspires viewers to do their part. The natural products made a small yet meaningful difference by removing pollution that took years to collect.
What can you do to help?
Simply by watching the time-lapse video of the transformation at Facebook.com/GreenWorks, $1 will be donated to the Ian Somerhalder Foundation. The organization raises funds for environmental conservation projects and educates and empowers people – particularly youth – to positively impact the planet.
We share funny video & pictures on Facebook, why not share a video that can make a difference? Let do it, let’s make a positive difference by raising money & for environmental conservation projects. We can make a difference, 1 view at a time. The opportunity to raise money for the Ian Somerhalder Foundation by watching this video will end June 30th. Let’s see this video spread on Facebook & Youtube!
About the Artist:
Mr. Kiji (Kiji McCafferty) is influenced by his eclectic upbringing – born in Kyushu, Japan and raised in New York City. His dynamic, clean-cut style, background in geometric shapes and lines, and range of work and mediums – from murals to newspaper graphics to painting – made him the perfect choice for the Green Works Reverse Graffiti Gallery. His work has been featured at the Mallick Williams Gallery in New York, ARTWALK New York, Giant Robot, Canvas LA, ArtBasel in Miami and the streets of NYC where he is based.
