Finding a hotel in Chattanooga can be overwhelming. Chattanooga is the 4th largest city in Tennessee and by far a very popular tourist destination. Staying somewhere familiar and dependable is a must when traveling. I need to know that even for just one night, we have all of the amenities we need for one low price.

Last week we booked our Chattanooga lodging accommodations at Holiday Inn Chattanooga – Hamilton Place which is minutes from downtown Chattanooga. Situated at I75 and Exit 5 conveniently located near all of Chattanooga’s popular attractions, we were close to shopping and fine dining options. My kids were not having any of it, they wanted to jump in the heated indoor swimming pool and enjoy the hotel amenities versus venturing downtown. We relaxed in the pool for a few hours while my husband (our chauffeur for the trip) took a brief nap before dinner.

After driving from the New Orleans area to Chattanooga my husband was instantly at peace at Holiday Inn. It’s easy to relax on the crisp white linens your choice of soft or firm pillows in every room. The stylish 32” flat panel HDTV, complimentary WiFi (standard internet service is free for all IHG® Rewards Club members) and the convenience of a microwave and refrigerator (where we chilled out bottle of wine) in our own room.

I went to the business center after the kids went to bed to get a little work before calling it a night. You can fax, print, email and more there. If you’re wanting to make use of some downtime, you can use the Guest Self-Laundry Facilities available at Holiday Inn Chattanooga – Hamilton Place.

You might think I’m kidding, but doing a load of 2 before heading home will make your life easier when you return home from vacation. Other housekeeping and laundry services like dry cleaning pickup are also available. My husband managed to get a short workout before going to bed and getting some rest before the rest of our journey continued.

I LOVE the Holiday Inn Kids Eat Free promo. Fuse Restaurant and Lounge offers a new and modern menu and room service available 7 days a week. The upscale breakfast buffet is a great value at $10.00 per adult. My son is 11 years old and a loves a hearty breakfast. Since kids eat free, he’s already off to a great a.m start.

I love hotels that have indoor pools and clean bathrooms! Lol. It’s hard to find those these days unless you’re staying at a well known hotel. Thanks for sharing your experience.

We just stayed at a brand new Holiday Inn in Nevada. I hadn’t been to one in so long and it was great. We were comfortable, everything was clean and the food was decent. It was a great value.
