Are you looking for an affordable gift for your favorite little ones? Since our gift buying days are now numbered finding that affordable last minute gift can be daunting especially if you are not sure what others will be purchasing for that same child. If your favorite child has a family IPad available to use, they can download game Apptivity™ Central by Mattel™, INC. To take it a step further you can purchase affordable Apptivity™ Game Sets that can enhance their IPad experience. I love this idea, “It’s Where Toy Meets Table”.

The average price for these sets generally run in the $9.99 price point & up which are suitable for players ages 6+ and up. buyers can find the perfect Apptivity™ line of toys with a large variety recently unveiled by Mattel™ – Barbie™, Batman™, Cut the Rope, Fruit Ninja, Hot Wheels™, Monster High™ and WWE Rumblers® just to name a few!

Users can preview all Apptivity™ Games for Free including Angry Birds Magic!! You can visit Apptivity Central™ on your IPad which will redirect you to the App Store where you can download free Apptivity™ compatible apps. Since these games are new to the toy market, you can download a short video which will give players an idea on how the game in played. I love this idea, especially for younger children who are trying to play the very same game their older sibling might already be a pro at.

Apptivity™ WWE® Rumblers® Starter Set
Apptivity™ WWE® Rumblers® Starter Set retails for $19.99 but you can also purchase additional sets for $9.99 anywhere Mattel is sold. My son was super excited to try the WWE Superstar game. We have been to a few WWE events locally and by using the Mattel Apptivity WWE Rumblers Start Set he was able to step into the ring as one of his favorite 7 WWE Rumblers™. What kid wouldn’t like that? You can master all your players signature moves which was an additional highlight for my son. From the theme music to the high-stakes specialty events you can almost feel that Championship Belt on your waist.

The Apptivity™ WWE® Rumblers® starter set was so easy to set up. All you have to do is download the free app then place your Superstar on the included base on the iPad and start the fight. My son’s first character he tried was John Cena using the 3 figurines that were included: a car, a dumpster, and a trampoline. Since this is a new game for my son, he was able to use the practice mode in order perfect the different techniques & moves his character posses.

This particular toy itself retails for $19.99 and is suitable for ages 4 & up. Add additional sets for $9.99 if interested. The App itself is rated for Ages 9& up due to Infrequent/Mild Cartoon or Fantasy Violence. I think with an adult, it may be appropriate for ages 6 & up as well.

Apptivity™ Fruit Ninja™
My kids love Fruit Ninja™. They have been laying Fruit Ninja on XBox for almost a year or more. Being a 2-player version of Fruit Ninja™ is an added bonus which allows both my children the opportunity to player together. My 12 year old daughter loved being able to sling her favorite fruit at her brother as he tried to slice the fruit as it is flys across the screen in various directions. Again, very easy to use. My 8 year old was able to set this game up after I downloaded the App from iTunes. The Sensei Apptivity™ figure simply needs to be placed on a special footprint in the multi-player logo. From there, the game itself is extremely easy yet fun. Each player takes a turn and have up to 3 pieces to miss before their turn is turned over to the next player. The Fruit Ninja™ Challenge is the ultimate task for my kids which resulted in several re-matches for my family.

Since Fruit Ninja™ is a huge global phenomenon, the App itself is available in English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Korean, & Spanish. Also the App itself is always updating so different backgrounds, blades and challenges are being added to keep your child ( and yourself) entertained. Beware: The game is very addicting!!

My kids had a blast trying both Mattel Apptivity™ Toys/Apps on our family IPad. We can’t wait to see what other toys and apps are added in the next few months.Affordable and full of fun for the kids. Perfect for travel and the opportunity to play together versus secluding themselves to their rooms.
