Last night I recounted my Saturday off of work to my husband and it went something like this: “Today I made our family breakfast, cleaned house, did laundry, went grocery shopping, made lunch, went to church and went out to dinner with the family. I feel like I just worked my entire day off.” My husband said, “Remember when you worked on Saturdays and you weren’t able to do any of those things with us on the weekends?” He was right, regardless of what I was doing or how tedious my chores may have been, I was at home with the ones I love, living those moments and not hearing about them after I got home from work.

During the work week my days can seem short and overwhelming. All my home responsibilities don’t always wait until the weekends. So whether I’m overwhelmed at home or stressed out at work my NIVEA gives me the few minutes I need to reorganize my thoughts so I can stay on task and follow through. I bought the Nivea® Essentially Enriched Twin Pack Regimen at Sam’s club which is perfect for home AND work. Each kit contains Two Essentially Enriched Lotion – 16.9 oz. bottles & Two Nivea Kiss of Moisture Essential Lip Care. I love their lip care products! My local Sam’s Club had the bonus bottle of NIVEA Extended Moisture Lotion which is the perfect size for my work drawer. I generally take a spare minute at work to message my hands with NIVEA Lotion. Those 2 minutes or so gives me a moment of clarity & an emotional break that allows me to press on through my shift.

One thing I love about this time of year is that we start to prepare for Spring. The weather in Southeast Louisiana during the springtime is absolutely perfect. So I was extremely so excited to see that Sam’s club started to display their Spring Gardening Products. We have almost 2 acres of land so we enjoy getting our backyard ready for Springtime Entertaining. I love having my family over for Sunday lunch or holiday’s like Easter & Mother’s Day. It really allows me to connect with my family on a deep level. Whether we are planting our summer garden, pruning our fruit trees & bushes, or collecting our fresh harvest in the evening time, gardening is something my entire family does together. Even my mother comes over to get her hands dirty with us!

Naturally all our hard outdoor work as a family isn’t easy. Sometimes our sweat & callouses on our hands really take a toll on our skin. Luckily we have plenty of NIVEA to go around! As you can see in the collage below, even when using Nivea lotion we are creating moments & connecting with each other. Make sure to check out my Google + Photo Album for more fun #NIVEAmoment pictures.

I love Nivea, too. Their lotions smell wonderful without being too overpowering. And gardening is a favorite “chore” at our house as well.

I always feel like I’d grabbed a great deal when I find bonus bottles when I shop! Your kids are lovely and remind me of the way my own children are together – they goof around, bicker sometimes, but the connection is so strong. Thanks so much for sharing your story :) I can’t wait to get into the garden this year – be gone, snow!

Classic and New Branson Attractions Worth Visiting #BayouTravel

TweetShareLike this post? Please share! Branson first began attracting visitors in the 1880’s with a unique attraction; descending into a cavern via a rope 200 feet below the Earth’s surface. For many years this was the main attraction in the city and several caves are open to visitors. When Harold Bell published his famous novel […]
