Marco's Pizza New Grilled Chicken Florentine #MarcosFreshSpinach

I would be lying if I said that dinnertime is fuss free! My family is not picky at all, it’s life that become dramatic. I work Monday – Friday and get home around 5:30p.m almost everyday. Occasionally I stay late to wrap up a few loose ends but for the most part my family needs me home at 5:30.

My husband does most of the after-school taxi driver routine for our 9 & 13 year old. One day this week my daughter had a Jr. high School softball double header (last games of the season) followed by her 1st recreational league softball practice. It was going to be a long night!

By the time I arrived to the ballpark I had missed the entire 1st game. I felt bad, but my daughter knows I get there as early as I can. Once the second game finished, she still had softball practice for rec ball. It was 7p.m and haven’t had dinner!

Correction, haven’t eaten more less thought about dinner. What was dinner going to be?

Pizza it is! My husband & I came up with our own game plan. He would stay with my teen at the ballpark for practice and I would take our 9 year old to pick up pizza. Marco’s Pizza is now offering a new Grilled Chicken Florentine Pizza. While I love traditional peperoni, my family can’t say no to tender grilled chicken, parmesan garlic sauce, four cheeses, fresh spinach and sliced tomatoes, with chopped red onions. I called our local Marco’s Pizza location before I left the ballpark and headed straight there.

My entire family LOVE spinach! I buy large bags of fresh spinach and add it to most of our meals. From omelets, pasta dishes, burgers to side salads, spinach is frequently used. April is National Spinach Day. Marco’s Pizza is introducing fresh spinach to its pizza toppings.

You can add fresh spinach to Marco’s Cheese Pizza which contains three cheese blend of fresh never frozen cheese on fresh (never-frozen) dough made daily. I ordered one grilled chicken florentine1 medium pizza, one medium spinach cheese pizza and one large sausage and peperoni pizza. SCORE- We had enough leftover pizza that my husband & I brought leftovers for lunch to work the next day.

In the end, our mid-week dinner dilemma was quickly resolved. My family came home hungry after a long evening at the ballpark and I scored a home run buy picking up Marco’s Pizza while my teen was at practice.

Now if I can find a easy solution for laundry I would most definitely become MVP.

What are your mid-week dilemma’s?

We end up getting way more takeout than I would like because we have a lot of those nights where we are running around after school! That pizza is making me hungry lol.

I bet my Hubs would like the Grilled Chicken Florentine Pizza. I would also like him buying it so I wouldn’t have to cook. It is a win, win situation.

Pizza is my go to meal. We have very little delivery here though. So usually frozen. Love the big slices of tomato on that (Kim)

No Marco’s here. My oldest could live on pizza, but we only get it as a treat every now and then. It’s just not in our budget to order out often.

My boys prefer the traditional pizza with pepperoni, I am the one that would go straight for the Spinach and Chicken – even just Spinach sounds amazing to me. I have to see if we have a Marco’s here, we just moved here so I am not sure.

I seriously never had any other choice of pizza except for Hawaian and cheese. I tried macaroni and cheese while I was in Georgia, it was pretty good. Grilled chicken looks really yummy.

The pizza really looks delicious and something my husband and I would enjoy. My sons are adults now but I remember well all of the running around after school that we did for their different sports activities. We had to be very creative with meals. Fun times but I am glad that is over, LOL.

If there was a Marco’s pizza nearby I would absolutely be ordering on of these right now! It looks perfect! I think I’ll try to come close enough with a spinach, tomato and cheese stuffed chicken breast (for now!).

Marco’s veggie pizza is one of my all times favorite veggie pizzas. I don’t get to order it very often because everyone else in my family loves meaty pizzas. Pizza is a great option for us on the weekends.
