One of my favorite parts of October aside from trick o treating with the kids, is that October is also a birthday month for one of my children. My daughter was been wanting a Princess Themed Karaoke Party and this year, she is going to get it! . My oldest daughter plays a few musical instruments and also take private voice lessons so microphones, karaoke Cd’s and other musical equipment is never far from our reach. And since October is also Halloween what better way to get more bang for your buck than by making it a dress up party. So we’re off to hunt for the perfect Princess Halloween costume as well as party supplies for our event next weekend.

Walmart has a huge selection of Halloween costumes, but what is better is that they are AFFORDABLE. Last year, my oldest daughter wanted to be a Vampire. And since she didn’t want to be a “cheesy vampire” we went to a Halloween Specialty store. I’m not joking when I say we spent $60 on 1 costume!! With more than one child running around my house, there is no way we can afford to that that again, even if it is for the oldest.

The only difficult part is selection which Disney Princess you want to be? we picked up everything we needed for all of my children. Trick o Treating Bag, Flash Lights, and even that special wand for the Wee Princess! Which did we choose? We will share that in our next post!

Nest, we off to buy party supplies. Since Walmart is one stop shopping, I can pick up all our party items including the food in one sitting. Time management is a big issue for my family so stopping from store to store is simply out of the question. We needed everything for paper products, decorations, prizes, and even treat bags. Oh, I can’t forget about the cake and cupcakes!! We also managed to pick up a few extra tidbits that we will unveil at the party. Let’s just say it’s going to be a complete Royal Ball in the Bayou!

Shopping can be stressful, but since we are a tech family, we can be occupied with shopping for long periods of time IF the kids can allow us! This means keeping them busy bee’s is extremely importan especially since I don’t plan on going shopping again for another week. The Disney Royal Ball Augmented Reality App can keep the little ones occupied while you carry on with your shopping. My oldest is the Queen of Apps so she was the first in the family to test out the fun interactive app. With the Royal Ball Augmented Reality App for Android or Apple, you can instantly play interactive games, dress up your favorite Disney Princess Characters and soup up your carriage to meet your customization requirements. But what is better is that while shopping your wee princess can unlock new games and interactive content while shopping directly at Walmart. There are certain kep points within the store that can unlock your app for more Princess Playtime.

Whether you have an Apple or Android you can download the new Royal Ball Augmented Reality App. Not only will this app keep your princess entertained while shopping but she will have a blast creating new outfits for her favorite Princess and decorating her carriage of choice. With the help of your own fair godmother you can also scan Princess Logo items and scan Cinderella’s
head at various store locations to unlock more content, games and activities to keep your favorite little princess entertained while shopping or at home.

If your little princess is looking for a fun interactive internet portal for all Princess Fun, maybe you and her can check out their Disney Play & Learn websiteWalmart has a huge selection of Disney Princes themed party and Halloween items, but don’t forget they also have all of the 2012 Hot Toys for this holiday season! But best of all they have Layaway!!

I plan on buying Disney’s Cinderella Diamond Edition for my oldest daughter this year. She & her friends still watch princess movies despite their age. In fact, even my 8 year old son will watch Disney Princess movies as a family on a Friday night. Family Movie Night is never short of Disney films in our home! If your not sure what is the next rage in toys, whether it is for your own children or a family member, you can follow Disney on Twitter and on Disney Princess on Facebook. You can go visit my Google + Album for more pictures on my recent trip to Walmart in preparation for our Disney Princess Themed Party.

I have a couple nieces who would absolutely love the Disney Princess products. This app sounds like alot of fun. Forwarding this information to my sister, she is constantly downloading apps for my almost 4 year old niece, who is a Dinsey Princess fanatic.

Cinderella happens to be my daughters favorite princess, she is even going to go as her for Halloween. We went to the event our local Walmart had and I was terribly disappointed. But that is neither here nor there, the point is all little girls love princesses and there are so many cute items to buy, we could literally go bankrupt buying them all. My baby is already making the xmas list!

Me encanta todo lo relacionado con las princesas … Como solo tengo hijos varones, disfruto de ver a las niñas con estos atuendos reales…

My princesses are all grown up and out of the house… so I guess BB will be forced to play w/the app all by myself. ; ) Look forward to the costume/party reveal. BB2U

This sounds like a great party! My daughter loves everything princess. She has been a different Disney princess every Halloween for the last few years! She was due in October, but not born until Nov. 2nd, but this would be a fun party for us down the road too! Have fun, sounds like a blast!! :)
