I am counting the days until school is out for Summer!! I don't know how this would make my life easier, but I am looking forward to it. Since I work full-time (and different shifts), my children will have to go to a local summer camp. I'm fortunate that our local summer camp is held by St. Tammany Parish School Board who reiceved a grant that allows school children to obtain aftercare & summer camps at a low cost. This means we will still wake up early, go through a pick up line, and Continue Reading

In order to avoid risk of catastrophic flooding in Baton Rouge and New Orleans (again) this was the only solution. My heart goes out to all Continue Reading

I regret not riding but I know it's a choice that needed to be made.Sarah however did march in the Krewe of Pearls (our small town local parade) and will be marching in a Slidell parade next week. Our families were at the parade route to represent Continue Reading
