As many of my readers know, I visited Pigeon Forge in early October and will be returning again this Thanksgiving week with my family. Pigeon Forge is a popular family destination , but Thanksgiving Week is one of their biggest tourist Holidays. This Thanksgiving, Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee will be celebrating the lives & legacies of those who were aboard the night Titanic perished into the sea. It is the largest Firework even in all of Pigeon forge so it will be a night to remember.
2012 Thanksgiving Fireworks at Titanic Pigeon Forge, Tn.
November 22, 2012 at 7:30pm
A year of paying tribute to the 2,208 souls aboard Titanic comes to a dramatic and energetic conclusion this Thanksgiving at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. The night sky will be filled with a major fireworks show on November 22, 2012, to celebrate the lives and legacies of the ship’s passengers, crew and rescuers. It will be the largest fireworks event on the Smoky Mountain Parkway since the Titanic Museum Attraction’s grand opening in 2010. Visitors to the Titanic Museum Attraction will also be able to view thousands of holiday lights, Edwardian-period decorations, costumed merry-markers, and a magical Gift Shoppe brimming with original, one-of-a-kind gifts.
But if you are visiting after Thanksgiving, starting Thursday, November 22, it will snow – yes, REAL snow – at the Titanic. The snow is part of the museum’s “Christmas in a Winter Wonderland,” which is dedicated to honoring and celebrating the lives of the 2,208 passengers and crew of the Titanic. Each night, November 22-24 and every Saturday in December, the Titanic will produce real, falling snow off the bow of the ship. AND…the entire ship inside and out will be aglow with Christmas lights and decorations
If you are planning a trip to Pigeon Forge this holiday season, make sure to stop by Titanic Museum Attraction with your family. It is educational, interesting, and beautiful beyond words.
