Morning at my house are on the chaotic side! For the last 5 weeks my teenage daughter has been waking up at 5:30 a.m for high school volleyball practice. Let’s just say, she’s not a morning person. But how can you be when it’s July and practice is at 7 a.m. I’m always on the hunt for a easy breakfast solution.
Today I’m going to WOW you with something! Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups are a shelf-stable yogurt available in (Strawberry Almond, Apple Cinnamon, Raspberry Pecan) three flavors. you have seen nothing like this before. Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups are a delicious blend of yogurt and multigrain granola with real fruit and crunchy nuts. It’s Crunchy. Cool. Yum!
While shopping at Walmart this weekend, I picked up several Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups located in the cold or ready-to-eat section of the cereal aisle. Although my daughter isn’t much on breakfast, she still needs to have the granola and fruit in her system before she starts her day. Quaker® Real Medleys® Yogurt Cups is the first shelf-stable convergence of granola, fruit and yogurt – all in a single serve cup!
Since it’s a new product, you can try before you buy at the Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups demos at Walmart starting on 8/13 -8/16. It’s filled with real ingredients that offer quality and convenience for family can enjoy for breakfast, just add cold milk, stir, and eat! To make the yogurt “be brought to life” simply add cold milk.
It won’t activate with warm milk! Stir and let sit for a minute or two. Next thing you know, you have a crunchy, satisfying and delicious breakfast with 25 grams of whole grains and 10 grams of protein when you add 1/2 cup of cold Skim Milk.
It is easy and convenient, simply add cold milk & stir.
Since our day starts very early, I make brunch once my daughter is home from practice. Start by adding all of my dry ingredients along then mix in 1 egg and 2 cups of water. Your batter is almost ready! I then add with 1 prepared (cold milk already in cup) Quaker Real Medleys Yogurt Cups in the Strawberry Flavor. Allow 1-2 minute for the yogurt to activate
Normally I add 2 1/2 cups of water but 1/2 of cold milk is needed to activate the shelf stable yogurt cups. You can begin to pour your pancake batter into your skillet. Use a 1/2 measuring cup for each pancake needed.
Top with powdered sugar or freshly sliced strawberries. Brunch is served!
