My family loves music so it may be of no surprise that live entertainment is something we are always looking for when traveling. During our recent visit to Branson, Missouri we were fortunate enough to board the Showboat Branson Belle. Launched in 1994, the Showboat Branson Belle offers guests live entertainment, a delicious 3 course meal and the pristine backdrop of Table Rock Lake making Theo Showboat Branson Belle one of Branson’s most popular family attractions.
The Showboat Branson Belle seats 700 people and offers lunch and dinner shows throughout the year. Tonight’s show, Made in the USA, showcases classic music favorite as well as new selections that your children will also enjoy.
Be sure to bring an appetite! Our dinner cruise offered a crisp iceberg & romaine salad featuring a sweet vidalia onion dressing topped with homemade Croutons, buttered dinner roll, slow-roasted beef roast and honey-Dijon glazed chicken, garlic mashed potatoes and sugar snap pea with julienne carrots. Dessert included a lemon-berry torte drizzled with caramel.
You will need a nap afterwards but wait until you get back to your hotel room because shortly after dinner, you are free to tour the ship before additional entertainment begins.
The ShowMen, an all male vocal group will have you clapping and on you feet. The talented Janice Martin, a violin-playing aerialist will blow your mind with her musical talent and physical strength athleticism. The Made in the USA dinner show is in its final year aboard the Showboat Branson Belle which means you must experience the tribute to American favorite and outstanding vocal talents before a new show begins in 2015.
Last but certainly not least is comedian and magician Christopher James as emcee. Christopher James is clearly the life of the party aboard the Showboat Branson Belle. My family thought he was entertaining and kept our attention throughout the entire show. Little did we know that we were about to be part of the show!
Somehow my younger sister Daniella was chosen to be on stage with Christopher James. If you know how goofy and silly my youngest sister is, you will agree she was the perfect magician assistant!
Daniella was on stage for what felt like 20+ minutes and as shy as Daniella can be in public she did a great job. I can’t tell you about the trick she helped magician Christopher James with but you can find out more about his magic show on his website.
Our overall experience made the Showboat Branson Belle one of our favorite attractions in Branson. Not only were we able to eat a delicious meal, but were completely entertained aboard the 750-seat paddle boat. The waitstaff was pleasant and efficient which made our experience more enjoyable.
The show and dinner cruise over Table Rock Lake in Branson is open from mid-March–December 31. For additional Information you can call 8800-831-4FUN(386) or www.showboatbransonbelle.com. You can purchase discounted tickets by creating a combo package with other Silver Dollar City Attraction ticket purchases.
Tip: Pressed Penny Machine available outside of the git shops.

I wish I lived closer I would love to do this with hubbie, what a special evening as long as I don’t get picked to go on stage like your sister, well done her!!

It was not right to read this post before breakfast. Nothing is going to taste as good as homecooking after seeing that picture!

This sounds like such fun-I know I would enjoy it (as long as I was not picked to be on stage!). Unfortunately I don’t live anywhere near Missouri so I will have to miss out.
