Educar es como intentar mantener 35 corchos bajo el agua al mismo tiempo – Mark Twain
Educating is like trying to hold 35 corks under water at the same time – Mark Twain

I spent half my childhood in Los Angeles area and then in a small rural school system in Southeast Louisiana. Both had one common denominator – budget restrictions. I suppose all schools have to balance their needs and wants, but it seems like our small community did a great job of finding ways to make sure the “needs” section was always taken care of.

Education was always a large part of my life. My mother was born and raised in Guatamala where education was not as readily accessible as it is in the U.S. My parents always reinforced the importance of education and both my kids know the best way to have a proper education is by working hard and becoming involved. What we need súper inspiración (super inspiration), so whether it’s organizing a PTA teacher’s luncheon, helping out at cheer practice or volunteering at an honor society car wash, parents and children need to get involved. But finding time can be challenging for some families.

One way we can become more involved and give back is by participating in the Campbell’s Labels for Education® Program. The Campbell’s Labels for Education Program Labels is a fun and easy program where families and members of the community can work together to items their local school needs. P.E Equipment, computers or new books, schools can use the labels to earn stuff for your school.

It’s easy! By collecting UPCs and beverage/sauce caps from over 2,500 Campbell’s participating products and supplementing earnings through the eLabels for Education℠ program, your school earns points that can be redeemed through the Campbell’s Labels for Education Program online catalog.

I work in education and have children in elementary/middle school. Without Campbell’s label program so many needs would remain unfilled. This is a powerful program that provides so many benefits.

That is such a wonderful program. Schools need all the help they can get. To make it as easy as buying favorite products – well, anyone can do that!
