Lil’ Yat’s …..”New Orleans Christmas”- Lil’ Yat’s Books @YatsUnlimited 7 Book Set and 5 Coloring Books Giveaway
Originally I was born in Los Angeles, but at the age of 11 moved in a small town outside of the New Orleans area. I remember prior to moving & there after, my grandfather would tell my older brother & I stories of New Orleans traditions & culture in hopes to instill some Louisiana characters in us. Over the years he told factual events that took place, as well as a little lagniappe (something extra). I'm not sure if my Grandfather was just a great story teller or that the characters Continue Reading

The Niche Mommy Conference: Audubon Zoo, New Orleans #Nola
Going to the Niche Mommy Conference was one of the best blogging decision I made. Aside from forming new friendships and the blogging tools & techniques I learned at the event, I enjoyed other bloggers having the full New Orleans Experience. The architecture, the music, and of course the food!! I did not meet once person that was experiencing a bad time in New Orleans. In fact, I was full of pride when many bloggers would tell me how much they were enjoying what New Orleans had to offer Continue Reading

Fun as always, but the main feature was the Insecterium.I love how the Insecterium is within walking distance to the Audubon Aquarium of the Americas. It is in the old U.S Custom House right on Canal Street. I love historic building so that was a real treat for me.The kids love looking at bugs, Continue Reading

Since we love to travel overnight as much as possible, this mean we arrive at our destination in the morning or late morning before we can check into our hotel or resort. Using this time to visit smaller museums and attractions is a great way to add travel time and stretch our legs before we take a nap after check-in. On this trip we visited On our recent Continue Reading
