As if you needed another reason to visit New Orleans this weekend, I am sharing one more: New Orleans Wine & Food Experience, May 21st-24th. Over the past two decades, the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience has raised over a $1 million for non-profit organizations that fight hunger and support culinary education all while showcasing local food, chefs and national and international wines.
I will be attending a special New Orleans Wine & Food Experience Wine Dinner held at La Louisiane- Hotel Mazarin, New Orleans Hotel Collection. The culinary team and Executive Chef Agnes Bellet have created a special wine dinner with selected dishes that complement the wines of Souverain Winery. The vintner will be on hand to offer details on the creation of each of their wines and answer questions we may have throughout the evening.
Over the years my husband and I have became avid wine enthusiast so you can imagine my excitement to attend this event. The dinner is an official part of the New Orleans Wine & Food Experience and a great opportunity to make New Orleans a better place to live in. You can find the detailed dinner menu and ticket information online or by calling (504) 200-3140. Tickets for the special New Orleans Wine & Food Experience Wine Dinner at La Louisiana are $135.00 per person includes tax and gratuity.
