Our lives are so busy with work, school, after school sports and everything else mixed in the middle. But there is always time for one thing, familia! Although my family and I are always on the go, I try to incorporate convenience items into our daily lives just a little bit easier. So whether it’s my day to bring Snacks and drinks to soccer practice or creating a quick meal for my family,  I think of ways to save time and money.

Whether my familia is hosting a back yard cookout, enjoying a outdoor picnic or watching El Campeonato together as a family, we can buy Capri Sun for our kids keep them from hydrated. I love to keep a ice chest of bottled water with a few Capri Sun at all of our family gatherings. That limits the extra dishes I have to wash and allows my kids to grab a drink and keep playing soccer with their cousin while I visit with the rest of my guests. Capri Sun also has new packaging which allows Moms like me to see what our kids are drinking. Did you know that Capri Sun has no artificial preservatives, colors and flavors? That is my kind of goodness!

When it comes to party foods or a big game recipe, I like to keep things festive and fun with Chorizo Macaroni and Cheese. My mother use to make this when I was a child and it is still a family favorite in my house as well. In my family, food and family are a vital part of any gathering. Since my family is coming over to watch the big championship soccer game with me, I thought I would make our family favorite, Chorizo Mac & Cheese for our family gathering. I headed over to Walmart where I can find a huge selection of Hispanic food items, fresh vegetables and my favorite convenience items at an everyday low price.

I can come home, whip up some Chorizo Macaroni & Cheese and enjoy our favorite big  game with my family. There is always plenty of food at any family gathering especially since everyone brings a party dish. This allows us to munch and cheer while watching the game on tv. You can score big too with my Chorizo Mac & Cheese. Recipe card is added for your convenience. Download, print and head over to Walmart so you can create a new twist on Mac & Cheese. #CollectiveBias #GolazoKraft

This is a great take on mac and cheese! People don’t realize that mac and cheese or actually fideo and cheese is pretty traditional. I love your version and will be making it soon!

I’m not a chorizo fan but can only imagine the kick it would give mac and cheese. This looks delicious and I want to try it.

So funny you happened to mention that combo of the Mac n’ cheese with Capri sun! Whenever I buy Mac n’ cheese (and it always has to be Kraft)..it always has a coupon on it for Capri sun boxes! And actually the coupon is super sweet, it makes the Capri Sun’s only $0.50 Each!!! So obviously I ALWAYS grab them! And the kids just love the combo!
I love your recipe! That is such a fun twist to the Mac n’ cheese to give a great punch of flavor and not boring old Mac n’ cheese for dinner.
