It’s summertime which means we don’t have after-school/after work responsibilities and more free time in the evenings! I might as well enjoy because the kids will be back in school in just a few shorts weeks which means more DATENIGHTS! Can I get an AMEN?
We recently celebrated our 19th wedding anniversary by catching Chris Isaak at the House of Blues in New Orleans. Not only did we have tickets to the concert but we also had upstairs access to the Foundation Room!
We have been to the House of Blues several times to eat and for several other concerts, but our tickets were for the down stairs portion which are standing room only tickets.
With the foundation room access, we were able to enjoy the lounge exclusive party and social rooms while enjoying the atmosphere upscale decor the Foundation Room has to offer. Guests can also order cocktails, appetizers or entrees in the lounge or dining room.
Back to the concert! Chris Isaak needs his own TV show! Seriously, he is hilarious and super talented! His hit Wicked Games came out in 1989. I CAN NOT believe it has been that long. He sounds exactly like he did 30 years ago and captivated the stage as always with his talent, humor and fan participation.
If you have the chance to catch Chris Isaak in concert, it’s definitely a must! Check out our short recap video below.
