I love my daughter but the one constant argument we have (aside from cleaning her bedroom) is her cell phone. I don’t understand how she can use 3X the amount of data that I use and almost 9x more than her father does. We hate change but we decided that enough was enough and are moving her to a pre-paid plan.
With numerous plans out there it’s hard to choose where to go with our daughter’s mobile plan but after numerous people told us about T-Mobile’s Simple Prepaid Plans, we decided to go that route for our teenager’s mobile plan. After being a customer elsewhere for so long, I hate the hassle of switching carriers but luckily switching can happen without a hitch. THEY pay early termination fees and remaining phone payments. Oh and no contracts, no overages and they also have phone payment plans.
TMobile offers both the Simple Prepaid Plan that is right for us and a Simple Choice Plan which starts out at $50 for unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of 4G LTE data. The advantages that T-Mobile offers vs. competitors is pretty clear.
One of our biggest problems we were dealing week was music streaming. With other carriers, music streaming counts against your data on other carriers which meant we were always going over in data. Yes, some competitors offers rollover plans but T-Mobile’s Data Stash roll over is 12 months with TMO vs. AT&T 1 month. Can we say lifesaver!?!
Also, since we travel internationally, T-Mobile offers free international text/data and calling (to/from) Mexico/Canada as included are not available on other major carriers. Plus, prepaid plans are 4G LTE and Wi-Fi calling is big for areas with limited coverage or overseas.
Their plan starts out at $40 for unlimited talk, text, and 1GB of 4G LTE data and includes:
*Unlimited talk, text and data while on a TMobile network with no overages or annual service contracts.
* NOW! Includes unlimited calls and text to and from any number, including mobile phones, in the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. PLUS use your monthly 4G LTE data in Mexico and Canada like in the U.S., at no extra charge.
* Data Stash™ rolls your unused 4G LTE data forward in to the next month, for domestic use in the next 12 months. Available with 3GB and 5GB data options.
* Music Freedom™ with unlimited music streaming on our network from top services such as Pandora and iHeart Radio without using your data.
* Unlimited data and texting when you travel to any of 120+ countries and destinations so you can stay connected when you’re abroad.
* Wi-Fi Calling: every Wi-Fi connection works like a T-Mobile tower.
Smartphone mobile hotspot: Use your device as a Wi-Fi hotspot.
