Are We There Yet_ Refueling & Traveling with Children and SNICKERS® #WhenImHungry #CollectiveBias #Ad #Shop

Are we there yet? As a parent, you have heard this statement many times. As a kid, you are guilty of asking this of your Mother or Father. My children have endured many trips in such a short life. But no matter how many times we load up the car for a new adventure, long car rides are not always fun.

Cramped quarters, motion sickness and numerous potty breaks means our family must make several pitstops along the way. Not only do we have to refuel our vehicle but we need to refuel ourselves as well. SNICKERS® or SNICKERS® Almond can turn an exhausted chauffeur (that would be me) and my sleepy children and give us the perk we need to enjoy our journey.

Luckily, I can stop into any convenience store on the road or near my own home. We live in the middle of no where so we are fortunate to have a Dollar General just 2 miles from my house. What a HUGE lifesaver! I can purchase some snacks as we head out for our road trip or make a quick stop for a SNICKERS® bar on the way home to do my all-time favorite chore….laundry!

My children should be happy because not only do they need to refuel, but I do too. A SNICKERS® bar is not something I have everyday but when the time is right, a SNICKERS® and a fountain drink is exactly what this Mamma need to recoup until we reach our intended destination.

My primary goal when traveling is to have fun! But sometimes my children turn into mean, little monsters that fight about EVERYTHING! From legs space, blankets, and even smells (don’t ask) they will bicker about everything from Point A to Point B. It’s like they are different people, very similar to the hilarious SNICKERS® commercials.

I love to have a Snickers in my purse. We went shopping the other day and my kids were getting whinney. I pulled out the Snicker and they got happy!

We are a Snickers loving family too. On a recent day trip we opened up a bag of snack mix and my daughter put it on the seat beside her. I turned a corner and off the seat went the brand new bag of snacks! I pulled over and had that moment of doubt- do I pick it up or do I toss it out? I tossed it out for the birds.
